Beautiful work, as usual. At first look, I didn't realize it was a storage (or "hope") chest, as it had those tacky faux carvings on the drawer fronts. Then once you proceeded to remove the damaged base & legs, I was like, "oh no, it's gonna be too low as a dresser," then just realizing you were building a new base w/legs...and it was a storage chest! Just gorgeous, especially the newly conditioned cedar wood interior. They surely don't make beautiful furniture like this anymore, nevermind this style. Thanks for showcasing your beautiful skills 😁✌️🗽

How do you get your primer tinted

Question, does Stix primer block bleed through? I’m looking for a good water based primer that works as good as Bin shellac primer but easier to clean up in sprayer

What type of sander and sponge sander do you use or recommend

I seriously still have this set in my bedroom. Got it when i was in second grade so 1988. Should redo them. Lol

Particle board needs to be outlawed.

Only the sprayed color screams little girl; the barley twist carving is a traditional European design element on furniture that dates back to the 17th century.

Do you let the conditioner dry before staining?

All of those nails poking out looked like a nightmare 😳 Fortunately, you have the knowledge and experience to deal with that surprise. I would have aborted that mission 😅 The final result is absolutely amazing! What a transformation! I'd love to know how much a refinished set like this would cost. The love and labour that went into this set is insane; the price should reflect it!
