Want to completely change the look of a dresser? Square off the top!

One of the ways to really update a dresser is to square off the top.
This too had a huge overhand and the rounded edge just made it feel and look old.
I did some measuring, used a straight edge and cut it with a small circular saw.
This small step totally changed the overall look!

Hi! I have a tip for you. Do you use laminar boards for flooring? I have found it to be very useful to use instead the wood plank which can var some in the surface . The laminate is so very straight, and you see better what’s happening.
So if you ore someone you know has a laminate floor board laying around, you could test it!

Thanks. That’s a great idea. On a 6 foot dresser. I don’t know if I would find a laminate board that length, but for shorter cuts that would be a great idea.

You are so right. Some producers have 1.3 m and some have 2.3 m long boards. but if you don’t have me laying around, maybe you should stick with the wood.😊
