Japanese Lever vs Korean Lever - A Mini Discussion
Просмотров 15 тыс.4 года назад
In the video, I discuss some differences between Japanese fight stick levers like the classic Sanwa JLF (sorry I kept saying JFL) and Korean levers like the Crown 309MJ. Whether you like spring tension or tension from a rubber grommet, a lot of whether you decide between a Japanese or Korean lever will depend on personal preference. Let me know in the comments, which lever you prefer and why! I...

Razer Atrox #DBFZ Edition for Xbox Unboxing and Review
Просмотров 6 тыс.4 года назад
My unboxing and short review of the Razer Atrox Dragonball Fighter Z Edition Arcade Stick for Xbox.
Would it work with other fighting boards
Looks like ass, those buttons colors don’t even match and a bat top is just lame all together. It’s not that you heavy you just mash hard 😂
You answered my question in STEP 4 lol :) so I guess I need to buy the HITBOX cable harness to connect to the 5-pin on the Fighting board cable and then wire the joystick the same way as if I had button there, ground on COM and colored wires on Normally Open and it should work.
How do I use the Brook Fighting cable harness for a joystick that doesn't have the JST connector board? For example I have a pair of IL Lorenzo Eurojoystick that just has the switches on the bottom, no JST 5 -pin connector. Do I just cut the JST connector off and attach those wires with quick disconnect U-clips to the joystick so that everything connects via that 20-pin connector or should I run separate wires for that?
The clip removal is like that one part in your fav game that you hate 😂.
I heard you died of a pulmonary embolism. You drop off the earth?
Just watched this in 2024, brilliant video mate, well explained
911 emergency long story short i got stranded in the middle of nowhere got locked out of all my social media bank everything and just got released from prison. Im desperatly trying to reach my family and could use some assistence. Also .... Whats up miss you guys
Zero btw
If using an internal ps4 battery does a rocker switch need to be installed on the battery wire to yurn the board off?
Thank you so much bro best video out there on this topic you are the man.
on my way to turn my hitbox into a legacy controller and this is exactly what I needed. Thank you!
I AM A KOREA I LIKE THE KOREA STECK HAIHAIHAI
It took me a while to find your video which is one of the best instructionals for the ufb boards so thank you for that! I dunno if Brooks knows about your video or not but they should and need to showcase it. I'm just curious if the battery gets charged when you connect the usb to a console or pc. Thanks again for your awesome tutorial!!!❤
the 6 screws at the bottom, can i ask you which screw driver i need?
I’ve watched your video about 3 times and I feel confident about installing this PCB into my 8bitdo arcade stick. I ordered it and am anxiously waiting for it to come!!
How did it turn out?
How did you drill the holes for l3 and R3? What did u use?
Hello 3 years later, is the fightpad keeping up well?
bro i did everthing in your video and stilll cant get the wirless to work, i tried three different ps3 batteries and still nothing, any suggestion
Hey are you still having trouble with this?
@@LloydJelly well yea. I did manage to get the wireless to connect but after 2 days it disconnected and doesn't pair anymore.
These are hard to come by now. Used are being sold pretty high. I missed out the GameStop sale for them a couple years ago. I decided to take the plunge when I found Amazon had 2 left. Paid $250. Mainly going in my collection. Not sure if I’ll open it lol.
Great vids!!!! Make some more I just subbed lol.
I am quite confused; was the panel already cut to be for a hitbox layout, or had you cut the holes out yourself? When I click the link, the panel seems to only be for one with a lever, with options being for either the Vewlix or Noir layout.
Amazing video dude. I had tried making a hitbox/fightstick combo but was completely at a loss. I appreciate how your video is step by step all other manuals or videos just say install the wiring.
I'm not seeing that panel on the provided link?
great info and i like that you showed all these parts up close
The metallic hinges over the microswitches on the Korean stick do all the "restriction" needed. Japanese sticks suck, and make no sense.
So you say you can't fit the crown in the Victrix but the crown has like a ring on top of the plate, isn't that ring a problem with fitting it into the Victrix compartment?
Which one do you like more? Can I remove the Battop from the shaft?
Ryan Reynolds' Channel is awesome!!!
Can I install knee lever on it ?
Question: Was the GX16 port that comes installed on the Hitbox for the USB connection hard to remove? Great guide by the way.
never understood why they would make it such a fucking nightmare to mod this stick....who da hell uses stick just as is? 9/10 people mod it...
For KOF 2002 Sanwa Jlf or Crown 309mj?
seimitsu is the best for kof and sf in my opinion
@@joshbell123 thanks a lot!
@Black Lotus thanks. Purchased Sanwa JLF.
So glad I snagged an original Panthera DBZ edition for how easy it is to access the internals
thanks for this great video, i was thinking of doing this for a long time maybe now its the time
I would install a sanwa JLF lever, an eight-way restrictor gate, a bat-top and hayabusa buttons into the Razer Panthera Evo.
hey quick question, I wanna take out the JLF to change the spring and regrease it and I'm wondering what the cable coming out of the 5pin connector going to seemingly the base of the jlf is? Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm kinda new to this
can you link the conversion kit you used? i cant find it
Hey mate, quick question. Is 1K / 1P the buttons CLOSEST to the joystick? Thanks :)
Yep.
This was my first stick. 2 years after I’d gotten it did I realise how much of a pain it is to mod this not just because of its design that restrict what levers you can put in without some finagling, but the screw housings for the internal screws in the inner panel are so ridiculously fragile that I dread opening it up any more than I have to. I’m glad I managed to snag the old razer panthera since that thing’s now an endangered species, but it’s made modding so much easier, and fun to boot. I’ve even ordered the aluminium panel to replace the stock art and think despite that, it’s still more moddable than many of today’s arcade sticks.

Are Korean levers good for 2d anime fighters
I use a K-Lever for anime fighters. I've found that a short throw low tension lever is better for 2D fighters. But I like long throw high tension levers for Tekken.
Will this method work for a Seimitsu LS32 ?
Does it work on pc?
I thought the FJ didn't have a collar? Am I unable to install it on my undrilled qanba dragon?
Will this power on the PS4?
Why oh why micro usb and not USB-C? We got 2021 ffs. This should really not be a thing anymore. Especially if you are trying to make a quality product
Would it work on PS?
I guess I'll just get the first one available sbMicro shipment are now in october and mpress are out of stock. I just want an arcade controller!
How does it feel doing a spd or a dp on a hit box? I’ve been contemplating on getting a hit box for a long time
It’s good. You can just slide your finger across the buttons some an spd so it’s a little easier sometimes to execute.
is that quick release lever good?
Yeah I like it a lot. It doesn’t feel flimsy and it’s nice when I have to pack the stick in a bag.
