I am quite confused; was the panel already cut to be for a hitbox layout, or had you cut the holes out yourself? When I click the link, the panel seems to only be for one with a lever, with options being for either the Vewlix or Noir layout.
I'm lost a little bit. So when you ordered was it the full hitbox layout or just the top panel cause when I'm trying to order it's not giving me the option of top panel only
They don’t give you an option for just the top panel. When you buy it they just automatically bundle it as a kit with the panel, hitbox wires, and the SOCD cleaner.
because there’s a screw that holds the top panel in place that’s only accessible if you remove function and touchpad. If you’re not removing the top panel at all then you don’t need to remove them at all.
I don’t have a PS5 😓 so I couldn’t test this myself. My Brooks PCBs work on the Xbox Series X. JonyFraze tested the Brooks boards and those worked on his PS5. But from what I’ve heard Hitbox should be able to just provide a firmware update, which I’m sure they’ll do soon.
That’s what’s up, the hitbox itself is so uncomfortable but love my panthera. Thought about converting it to a hitbox if I knew it would work with ps5 which I assume it would.
@@locoflash2282 honestly, you’re probably better off waiting for a firmware update from Razer for the Panthera. I absolutely cannot use a hitbox for MK11. I have to have the stick. It’s like the only game where I prefer a stick over a hitbox.

Not that I can think of. You only need to provide the pushbuttons.

How does it feel doing a spd or a dp on a hit box? I’ve been contemplating on getting a hit box for a long time
It’s good. You can just slide your finger across the buttons some an spd so it’s a little easier sometimes to execute.

Are the screws sticking out above the panel or are they flush?
They’re whooshed to be flush, but one of the screws on my panel wasn’t quite as flush as I’d like. It’s totally possible that’s my fault though.

Hey man, curious if this works on ps5. My hitbox, from the guys at hitbox doesn’t work with mk11 ps5 version.

@@DrSmoores wow, I love the hitbox for mk. It’s super fluid on MKX as well with microdashes and the run mechanics.
