Hey bro, if you EVER do any more modding in the future which i'm sure you will. And you need to cut away some plastic. Get some shoe string or even some dental floss. I'm serious. You'll always get an even clean cut.
Personally honoured to be the 69th subscriber. With such a great video you helped me solidify my choice to keep my panthera evo stock and build a custom kit instead. Thanks for all the information and for doing such a great job!
hey quick question, I wanna take out the JLF to change the spring and regrease it and I'm wondering what the cable coming out of the 5pin connector going to seemingly the base of the jlf is? Sorry if this is a dumb question I'm kinda new to this
And I'm choosing what to Buy The razer Phantera Evo or Nacon Daija I heard that nacon daija has a input lag which of these two will you prefer for modding and tekken??
Zeus Bumagat oh that’s a tough one. The Nacon is a beautiful stick, but you’d absolutely need a low collar low profile Korean lever with a Japanese mounting plate to make it work. Honestly, I’d go with the Panthera Evo.
Just FYI the Panthera Evo has the fancy latching quick disconnects, so you just need to press in the little tab before pulling and they'll slide right off. Here's a pic showing it in detail: cdn2.bigcommerce.com/server500/d90a4/product_images/uploaded_images/razer-pevoinstall-step6a.jpg
Hi I just got the razer panthera evo, I am having an issue where the joystick isn’t reading or seemingly reading my 1,3,7,9 corner diagonal inputs as Up or Down and the mapping for the joystick’s movement is on my game shows it’s kind of struggling to go and hit the corners. It also makes a Z motion sometimes when returning to neutral. I had the mayflash f500 before and got this as a new stick. Any suggestions when I do take it apart and look at the stick to possibly see what’s wrong and what maintenance I can do?
When you open it up you're going to want to look at the 5 pin connector that connects to the stick to make sure that's secure, but it really sounds like there's an issue either with the switches or there's something restricting the lever from hitting the switches properly. I would open it up and plug it in and then slowly move the stick in each direction and see what's hitting and what's not hitting and hopefully that will show you where the problem is.
If you do this to put a k lever in, can you change it back to the stock sanwa it comes with as well, or is it once u change it u cant put the sanwa back in?
The mounting plate on the LS32 is different than the SANWA. I’m not sure if that plate will fit the screw holes. You might have to mount the plate sideways and then change the connectors to match the way it’s mounted.
DrSmoores I actually managed to figure out that it was pretty simple, I figured out all u have to do is the top and bottom screw holes and it’s locked in place and it works, now I just need to cut out the piece that u cut out in ur video (I’m referring to how the plate goes beyond that plastic boundary)
If I wanted to add a Seimitsu LS40 to a Razer Pantera Evo could I do the same thing you did? Would I just screw the top and bottom screws and leave the side ones empty to make it fit. Also cut behind it where the wire goes so the lever fits? I am not sure exactly what a mounting plate is? Is that just the outer metal frame on the lever where the screws all go in, like on the edges/outer boundary of the restrictor gate?
hello I would like an info I want to change the buttons but I want to be sure not to make mistakes, I have to take these 30MM seimitsu PS-14-D Snap in ARCADE button 30 mm, these are fine thanks for answer because I saw that there are also 24MM
There are a couple of places that donut but I’ve found the best is focusattack.com they have templates so you can do your own artwork and then submit it for printing.
@@Speedo94 it’s unfortunate they don’t sell them separately. You might have a hard time finder Gamerfingers as well, but sometimes you can find folks selling sets of GF buttons on Reddit.

Oh that’s such a good idea! I will definitely do that next time.
Thank you for this video my stick came in and I got the octagonal plate for the stick. And I had no clue how to open the Panthera Evo very helpful!
Thank you so much for this! Will definitely be useful in the future as I'm planning on getting a korean lever myself ^^

Troy Humber thank you so much! That really makes me happy to hear. Custom kit is the way to go haha.
Great vids!!!! Make some more I just subbed lol.

Thank you for the tips I'm planning to buy this Razer Phantera Evo in the future but I want to put a Korean lever in it
Zeus Bumagat It’s a great stick if you don’t mind the hacking lol. Good luck and if you have any questions let me know!

Ok Panthera Evo it is then
Zeus Bumagat yeah, I would argue the Panthera is better.

You can swap the levers in an out as you wish.
Can I install knee lever on it ?
I’m trying to put the Seimitsu LS32 in and I wanna know how I put it in, Ive disconnected the Sanwa stick already

Goldie perfect! Glad you got it in there.

Do you know what diameter screwdriver you need to remove the internal screws?
No, I’m sorry I don’t know what diameter you need. I don’t have a unit to consult anymore. Sorry.

Those should be fine for the top 8 action buttons which are 30mm. The side buttons (start / select/ home) are 24mm.

@@DrSmoores Awesome bro thanks
Hey bro do you know how to take these panthera evo buttons apart to clean them lol I’m a rookie with all this thanks man
These Razer buttons have a bottom you have to unscrew and then you can pull out the switch to that’s inside.
@@DrSmoores thanks bro appreciate it... it sucks they don’t sell them I might just have to get some gamerfingers

will you sell me your Razer buttons?
im robbing them for a RAP 4? backwards I know but. can't do the stick/button spacing
I wish I still had them I’d just send them to you, but I used them in another build that I sent off to a friend.
never understood why they would make it such a fucking nightmare to mod this stick....who da hell uses stick just as is? 9/10 people mod it...
