Once I heard you mention your Walmart spend I was curious what card you use! Walmart+ credit on Amex Plat pretty underrated, been using it more with now 2nd child, but seems tough to find best card. Currently using VX as 2x but looking into USB Shoppers Cash for 6% (only $1500 limit/3mo though, and we do spend similar to you). Guess other option is Walmart C1 card but not thrilled. Would be great if they finally decided on Apple Pay for that USBAR. What cards you looking into for Walmart?

I’ve also been looking at 0% credit cards as a source of business capital. Not sure what would be applicable. 0% cards do seem better than SBA loans, at least in the short term. Restaurants have a huge failure rate. Opposite of that vending machines and laundry mats are almost always successful. Home hospice/assisted living centers are a growing need and are disproportionately successful. Have you looked at businesses for sale around you? On Craigslist, Bizbuysell, or loopnet? Some owners/operators just want out and are looking to sell you a job. I’ve seen a few that have been interesting.

I don’t remember a time that I didn’t want to make more money, There’s always something we want to do that we can’t do at the moment (rat race). I think 0% APR can be a powerful tool but, to be honest the times I got one to take advantage of it, I end up paying it off 😂 I think RUclips is good option. I've been pondering this for awhile and I got nothing, Paypal credit (PPC) offers 0% APY for 6 months for purchases over $99, this is not a welcome bonus, this a recurring offer on any purchase over $100 Back when mining crypto currency was more profitable I used it to get into that, and that was working great for awhile but it is so hard to make a profit now I wouldn't take that kind of risk, other ways I've seen people take advantage of paypal credit, aka short term (6 ~ 18 month 0% apy) is buying popular products like shoes, watches, and concert tickets and reselling them on ebay, to me it seems like too much of a hassle to go down that route. I have all but given up, the last idea I had was using PPC to buy discounted phones on Google Fi (you can get one every 4 ish months) and then reselling it, while this seems like an easy way to get profit, it isn't scalable, I don't know that there is any strategy that I would take with a 0% 15 month credit card, that I couldn't also employ on a 0% 6 month PPC purchase, perhaps I am misguided to categorize them as basically same thing.

When you transferred Chase points to Aeroplan was the 10% cardholder bonus posted at the same time as the normal transfer and the 20% Chase bonus? I transferred last night and got all but the 10% Aeroplan cardholder points bonus.

Do you actually have have Choice Select card? I'm planning to get one for both me and my P2, since 30k worth more than $95 AF, plus you get Platinum status, but it's not worth much.

I just got an Autograph Journey few weeks ago, since I was planning a trip to DR, and one of the hotels I wanted to book was from small European chain, and I first booked it with a combination of Citi and Chase points via respective portals (I do have Citi Prestige, which gives 4th night free, and Ink Preferred, which gives 1.25cpp for travel redemptions), but then I realized, that booking directly via hotel website will give me a better price, even if I cash Citi or Chase points at 1cpp, so I decided to get WFAJ, get the bonus, and also get 5x on a stay. I think that WF points worth more than Cjoice or IHG point, TPG values them 1.6cpp, which is better than earning 10x with IHG card and the same as Choice, where you can transfer from WF to Choice at 1:2 ratio. I'm planning to add an Attune card to this setup, and also maybe a Signify Cash later on.

16:25 You also get 4th night free with IHG points redemption if you have Premier, Traveler or Business card. And if you have an old IHG Select card, you also get 10% points back. I have a combination of Select and Traveler cards from IHG, and it works really well for both me my P2.

Its not used anywhere. 2- How many 'blocks' away is it'. see above answer. and lastly. Never, never attempt to pay in cash with dollars. Seen it so many times. Use pounds. you don't want to embarrass yourself when told by the shopkeeper "Mate, you ain't in bloody Dallas. Have a good trip.

Question? I am gardening for 12 months, 4 months to go, then will apply for Citi Custom Cash and U.B Bank Altitude Reserve on the same day. I do road trips from Portland to different destinations across USA, stayed at Choice and Radisson on may occasions. Got Choice Privileges Select Mastercard last October, have Wells Fargo Autograph. There are 2 choices to earn Choice points either through Citi or Wells Fargo which is better route, I am AU on P2 Citi Costco Visa. My dilemma is I use AAA Visa 5% for Costco Gas, Venmo 3% inside Costco and Mastercard is not accepted. Do I apply for Wells Fargo Active Cash or Citi Double Cash six months after applying for the 2 cards. Getting Citi Custom Cash as back up for Amex Gold Card in case I close it plus SUB and 15 months interest free for 15 months in case I need it. I have Hilton Surpass, Hilton Aspire, Marriott Bonvoy Brilliant, Best Western Rewards Premium Resorts and AU on P2 IHG One Rewards Premier Credit Card. I tend to stay at Hampton Inn, Hilton Express, Choice and Radisson. By the way Love's which run gas stations, check the hotels which they run, they tend to be super clean, great service www.loves.com/en/location-and-fuel-price-search/hotels.

Greatly appreciate the spreadsheets Dugroz! I predominately use points for hotel stays, but the autograph journey card is one I’ve been grabbing for parking at the hotel, and other charges (resort fees). So good to see the comparisons

This is a great video. I do think Choice, IHG, and Hilton are the programs where the Autograph Journey will not shine. Hyatt and Marriott would probably provide a better use case (along with independent hotels). Also: road trips don't provide the best use case for that card; flying will. Most importantly, a card driven by travel spend is probably not the card for hobbyists looking to spend little on travel. Anyway, WF has been doing some interesting things lately. We are all struggling how to make these new cards work (and who they are for).

This was fantasitc Dugroz! Guess the AFJ is not as good as I thought for road warriors! Also, it's convinced me that IHG/Choice are hotels that I should look into more!

You also have the additional free night with the IHG card when you book three nights with points, you get the 4th night free so assuming that you use the accrued points that you've earned in the year, it becomes 7.86 nights potential (9.36 with the IHG and Redstone combo).
