- Zeigler Illinois is a small town in southern Illinois. (Franklin Country). I was there for the great solar eclipse of 2024, so decided to stick around and drive the town. In this video you can watch me drive around and observe the whole town! Zeigler had a "famous" moment in the early 1900's when someone proposed that president Roosevelt move the white house to Zeigler!
This drive was recorded in April 2024.
Watch me drive around and comment with soothing natural car noise!
Zeigler actually came very close to becoming the U.S. Capital back when the Zeigler Coal Company was still running the town.

Great video first time I have seen one of your videos but just subscribed will watch many more I live in Ziegler but you didn’t come down one of the main streets in town maple street it’s actually one of the longest streets in town but great video showcasing these small towns.
