    The real question is did you take your hands off the wheel to say “WITH Dugroz Reports”? I’ll be disappointed if you didn’t do it out of habit 😂 Solid discussion Doug, thanks

    The Chase Freedom Cards are absolutely old reliable's! I'll be downgrading my CSP to a Chase Freedom continuously every 4 years ro maximize Sapphire Bonuses.. But also to continue to increase my cap on the CFF rotating spend! Love the Ink Cards as a business No AF option too. Great video!

    The plan for me and player two is to use two freedoms for grocery store/bjs gift cards when grocery stores and wholesale clubs are in the rounds. And while they aren’t, put cash into a sinking fund FOR this strategy. Intrest rates should help for the next year or so and we’ll see how it fairs when they (hopefully) go back down

    So for each $1011.90 trip to the grocery store one can buy 5000 Chase UR points at 0.24 CPP. That's really good, but not as good as Staples fee free weeks or the gas station that will remain unnamed where each UR costs 0.0 CPP if one ignores the trouble of obtaining and using the GCs. Do you max out your (and P2's) $25K on those CICs every year? I have 2 CICs and can't max them out even though I do my best to live my life in $200 increments when not working a SUB or spend bonus.

    • @DugrozReports
      @DugrozReports  7 месяцев назад

      We don't max it out all the time. Some quarters we do, some we come close, and some not so close. I sure could each quarter, but I don't always get around to it. (shrug).
      Thanks Jose!

      @@DugrozReports I would argue that it would be better to use up all of ones CIC $25K 5X ceiling on office supply stores during fee free sales at staples, before considering any GC purchases at grocery stores for 5X on the Freedom. Am I missing anything? Grocery store points? Convenience?

    • @DugrozReports
      @DugrozReports  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@JoseSantiago-yq7co I agree with you in a vacuum. Right now our CIC's are both (P2 and I) still in the first year and are being used for other things, including (but not limited to) 0% balances.
      But yes. I do plan to gradually ramp up to buying more of those sweet $200 fee-free Visas at Staples as this year progresses, and apply that to "non bonus" spend.
      Convenience is a factor also. (1 $500 load vs. 2.5 $200 loads)

    Do you sometimes use the same Gift Card strategy on the Citi Custom cash to max out $500 monthly for 5x?

  • @chadpennycuff

    Sent my P2 to Meijer's today to buy $1500 of Disney Gift cards on her Freedom card (7,500 UR points). The Meijer's mPerks are worth $150 in free groceries or up to $450 in free gas if you maximize it.

    • @DugrozReports
      @DugrozReports  7 месяцев назад

      $450 ??? How ????

    • @chadpennycuff
      @chadpennycuff 7 месяцев назад

      @@DugrozReports You can take 10,000 meijer points and get $10 off groceries or $1 off a gallon of gas (up to 30 gallons). My dad drives a F250 Heavy Duty snow plow gas guzzler with a 30+ gallon tank. He's retired and lives about 2 miles from Meijer - so we have him meet us there and park across the pump from our cars. We fill up P2 or daughter's car for 13-17 gallons and pass pump across the isle to his truck before it times out and he gets the gas up to the 30 gallons max. I believe she pays with a Meijer card for another 10 cents off a gallon and about a 1.5% rebate. Sometimes I take my mom's car and his truck. Gas is the best bang for your mPerks buck. $10 off in groceries becomes $30 off in gas. You get to do this 15x on $1500 of gift card purchase. 30x15 = $450. I figured out the original mPerks trick - my wife took it to a whole new level with gas redemptions.

    Holding out on the Gas Station 411 on a members-only video - that's cold, bro. Hook a brother up. LOL. I love Amex Walmart+ grocery delivery. That was a coupon book lifestyle change enhancement - and I ditched Amazon Prime. I going to need to load up a Walmart gift card with some no-fee 5x visa cards when the office store promo rolls around.
