What Mobile wallet are you using? Mine Codes correctly When using Samsung Pay but it didn't give me the 3x points when using Google Play

I feel like US Bank runs such an amateur operation. I did a product change from an Altitude Go card to a Cash+ card almost 2 months ago; yet they continue to send me Altitude Go replacement cards. It's no wonder these guys continue to languish in last place

It’s really odd… Their representatives always seem very friendly when I talk with them, and easy to communicate with. But when it comes to actual infrastructure and system issues? I agree. Seems like they are stuck 30 years in the past.

Someone was able walk into a branch with a fake ID and cleaned out my checking account. No money back or even an update since February.

At US bank. I got the checking account thinking that it would help me with my chance of getting Altitude Reserve but I am now thinking that it's worth it to do business with them anymore.

Please record the retention call. I only had the card for 4 months and check my points earning daily and so far all the 3 point mobile wallet charges so I would have definitely noticed any issues since this is my primary spend card ($3-4k a month). I will be planning to ask for a retention bonus when the time comes and want to do it correctly. Thanks and good luck!

My “new” (product changed) USBAR is posting 3x correctly for mobile wallet. Or at least it seems to be as all the points are pending, but they are 3x. My annual fee has not posted yet and the card still shows as Altitude Connect on the app and site. Waiting to see if I get the credit on my one restaurant charge.
US Bank phone customer service has always been shit. The only reason I still have them is that I like my local branch reps.
Thanks for the data points Robert! If it is showing 3X, on the website or app, you are probably fine. When I was having a shortage, it was only showing one X as pending.
My biggest issue with the AR is the breakeven vs a 2% card. The "extra" 2.5% from optimal 4.5% travel redemptions divided by the net $75 AF is $3,000 mobile wallet spend just to breakeven. For a 1-3 card setup this might be fine, but if you're in the game with many cards, then it's a different story.
Every year so far I’ve been given a 5,000 point retention bonus (no spend needed, they just give it). Worth $75 in travel, so effective AF becomes $0.
I should be able to determine if it works this year or not.

I don’t have any US Bank card and always had my doubts in regards to their costumer service. No one deserves generic replies for an issue. Great info Doug!
💯 It’s almost like they don’t even want to address the issue. Wouldn’t mention in the letter, no press release, nothing on their website…

I'm still waiting on resolution to missing points since January 1st. I agree it is not acceptable. This is my long game card and I have amassed a lot of points that intend to redeem for travel in 2025. I've held this card for over 2 years without any points redemptions. Thanks for the update.

I have this card. I had a bad customer service experience with them right out of the gate. I'm using it for mobile wallet purchases that aren't consequential (like food, small items, etc). I would not use this card for big travel expenses or large purchases due to a lack of trust that the US Bank team would follow through on helping me in a bind.

I had the same problem and I came across your video. I also remove the card and manually added it back and it’s now working properly. One possible thing that may haved caused this is that I added a single users, U.S. Bank card to multiple mobile devices, including my spouse. Now that I’ve added it again to my phone, it will not allow me to add it to any other device. Which is probably the intent and probably guessing maybe They pushed through some technology to not allow multiple devices on 1 /1

Do you know if you have had your missing points restored yet?
I chimed in before about my own AR mobile wallet working correctly.
However, I had an issue when I (for some reason) booked a rental car through their portal and got x1 point instead of x5. The agent over the phone says it may take a billing cycle to correct. We’ll see how that goes…

I really like the ability to book rental cars with the 1.5 X directly with the rental car provider.
I’m kind of waiting to see what happens with the Chase Aeroplan card, if they ultimately extend that ability to pay yourself back beyond June 30? So I will probably keep it one more year no matter what, but beyond February 2025 would be unlikely If they turned the down the retention offer.
