I got one and they work great, but using one of the apps available are really damn close. Like REALLY close.

We all have been there just +- .1mm of movement on the rate adjustment. You can also do the adjustment on the timegrapher and dont need to reinstall the case back while testing. You could take a shot at the beat thats the other adjustment again small changes. You want to end up with a flat line with no vertical movement.

Shame about the bracelet and lack of decent AR coating.

well you always better have screw drivers with thick grips. You can also trim the tip a bit so it fits better in the screw head

Battery is dead

I took my automatic watch to the local watchmaker and he refused to work on my watch. It used to be at +3 sec a day, it's at +18 a day and I just wanted it regulated. It doesn't help that there's a language barrier, I just want a close to accurate timepiece.

10:20 The Komandierski is NOT an automatic movement!!!!! In your video about polishing scratches, you said you scratched the glass on your Komandierski yourself with your caliper. But here you claim that the watch arrived already scratched. What's true now?

I see no problem with the nighttime luminosity whatsoever ..... at night, pitch dark camping or outdoors what's the point of having something too bright? Even the camera shows everything is perfectly legible... Geezz you people are so full of BS over minuscule details

I had a friend of mine install a new Seiko 6R15 movement in my Seiko Sumo. I have a time graph like you show in the video. I tried to regulate it using the regulator switch. I wasn’t having any luck so I fiddled around with the beat error switch (bad idea), and everything became worse. At this point I think I’ll just take it to a watch repairman and have him fix my screw up & get it running just right. Great info! Now I understand my time graph better!

I got the 36mm blue dial field post solar a couple months ago. Upon receiving it, it looked very nice for the price. The lume is pretty bad, but it’s fine for the price. Overall I was very happy with it, until I noticed something. Whenever I would wear it I would get an itchy rash on that hand where the side of the case would rub against my hand. The bottom doesn’t touch my wrist because of the nato strap. This has never happened to me before with any watch. I can only conclude that it’s not made from 316l stainless steel. I wanna love Timex. I grew up with my mom wearing one. Such a long history to the brand. But my God, are they really using some kind of pot metal for the cases? A $50 seiko 5 doesn’t give me a rash…..

Also if anyone is interested there is a reason why the crown wobbles like that. Its not due to quality. Comparing a cheap quartz Duro though a great watch to a Russian military watch with history and soul is apples to oranges. Those who are interested should look up other channels for history. The mere mention of the wobbly crown says you don't know the history. You also didn't mention a very most important aspects of this watch and makes it a enthusiasts choice. The unique case back and the crystal and how they are designed to function. Your taking about cklor?

I have this watch, bought new. the bloody thing stopped working had it serviced still the same issue. work for a little while then totally stops. so definitely i would not recommend it.
