I have this exact color and I love it. Best feature is the lume, it charges quickly and stays on for a long time and its nice, bright, and clean looking.
Nice review Jonah, I’ve been debating one of these and it’s nice to hear from someone who actually bought one. I hope you pick up some more followers, because you have great production quality and narration.
I have the red variant! It's much, much better in a beads of rice bracelet. Amazing watch, one of my favorites Yeah, the movement is not the best, but it works for the day of the rotation in which I decide to wear it, so it's just fine
I had one for a few months. I got a good deal on Amazon, wore it 5-10 times and the case styling, fully polished case, cheap clasp and non-hacking movement pushed me to sell it. I was shocked at how many bids it got on eBay and I got a ton of messages from buyers outside the US, I’ve never had that with any other watch I’ve sold. Had I not bought a STO Samurai around the same time I probably would have kept it longer. But I still love that Samurai years later.
Great review. I sold the black red three years ago, now looking again. The looks and quirks far out weigh the flaws. Literally put an offer in for the green you have, definitely the most interesting colour way. £250, at half retail as you mentioned in U.S.A.
I must’ve got lucky, I got one new from an AD here in Australia a week or so ago, it runs much more accurately than yours and it also must have the newer 8215 movement as mine hacks!
Well done. I appreciate your focus on the subjectivity of the watch’s aesthetics. I’ve been geeking out on the Devil Diver for some time in terms of its retro style. In theory I’m disappointed in the entry level Miyota movement, but damn, the orange version is muy caliente…🔥
Great review mate. I love the orange version and have nearly bought one a few times . One thing that I don't like is the side profile, I like turtles but this sits a bit high for my liking.
Hey, nice video! The lighting outside is amazing for watch shots. Just wanted to know, what is that black strap, I really want to catch one to put mine on!
This watch is awesome. It does more than just look like a '70s watch, it feels like one, too, even though its components are modern and much more durable. Love that it doesn't hack, love the sound of the rotor when you set it down on a glass table-top (which wouldn't be the case with a "higher" movement), love how the case is polished to imitate the chrome plating of the originals and how the bracelet jangles like the old ones even though it's solid stainless. The only thing I'm glad they didn't replicate is the automatic only; I greatly prefer being able to wind. Really can't think of a downside to this watch, other than maybe slightly too big. The people who complain about what gives it its charms just don't get it.
Nice watch and review. I have the Black/Red model and find it very accurate. Give it a wind to 40 and you might find yours is accurate. Also easy to back hack, pull out the crown and turn slightly counterclockwise to stop the second hand. Mine runs with in COSC. BTW here is how to properly pronounce the brand name: ruclips.net/video/8JenAyMmZ68/видео.html
For the price of $799 MSRP they could have gone with a milled clasp. Both the Seiko Alpinist and Seiko Solar Speedtimer come with bracelets that have really nice milled clasps. Other than this is a really nice looking and functional dive watch. Long Island Watch says this Bulova Devil Diver with steel bracelet is only 158 grams. Many Seiko Dive watches like the Willard and their Padi Automatic Diver weight at least 180 grams so this Bulova should be way more comfortable.
Really good production value adding in the rain on the diver.
Had to put the water resistance to the test
This watch has so much character. Just amazing looking in person.
Have one.... LOVE it!

Thank you! One of my all time favorites

Sorry for your loss.

This is a great size watch
One of my favorites
I'm probably gonna buy one of these in rose gold and rootbeer..I really like this green too though..
I’ve been debating getting that one too
Looks like a fun design, I might have to pick up the green/teal version before my trip to Cancun in Sept...

Nice!
My new, just arrived, orange dial hacks
Nice!

great review Sir 🙋👍🇩🇪

Just wanted to know, what is that black strap, I really want to catch one to put mine on!
Thank you! I wish I could remember about the strap but it’s just a super budget tropic strap, you can’t go wrong with really any of them
Not crazy about the difficulty with the bracelet...like the fact it's a legitimate diver and it's comfortable to wear. Also like the size
The bracelet is very comfortable once it's on wrist, but the fold-over was a big disappointment
I have it in orange and wear it every weekend.
On this wrist this watch is charming. I swapped the bracelet for a nice light brown leather band, and wear it everyday.
I can’t stop wearing it either

It definitely is charming. Size has been my only lasting “issue” so of course now I’m interested in the new 41mm GMT version
I truly love mine ,hate to say it more then my lunar pilot
Interesting! I’ve been eyeing a lunar pilot for a while…
Nice review. What is your wrist size?
Just about 7.25 inches

19mm bracelet
This is a 20mm, the smaller orange color way has 19mm lugs
@@the1010watchclub I stand corrected…sorry😀
Bulova does not have a long O in pronunciation
