Well, this is exciting! First video made with my new editing software, so there may be a few bits which could use a bit of polish, just due to me partially re-learning editing skills. Some of the footage at the end, for example, is desynced by about two seconds. Even so, I'm very proud of this video and I hope you enjoyed it. The music in this video was taken from THIS wonderful mashup of Garet...

Minecraft in 2022: A Fanmade Trailer
Просмотров 8052 года назад
Lots of credit to give today! First of all, all the music in this video and the trailer within it is from Minecraft's C418, and the trailer itself is for a game called "Minecraft" which I know is kind of a niche title right now but you should really pick it up when you're next on Steam (it's not great without DLCs though, so pick a couple up). Servers used in the trailer are Hypixel and Wynncra...
How Herobrine Changed Minecraft...

As I said in my conclusion, there are many things about the legend that I haven’t covered here. I haven’t gone into Herobrine’s effect on mods and maps like Herobrine’s Mansion, the Q&A with Copeland, or the general consensus over things like how to “summon” him - maybe those are future videos. Please remember that this is not a comprehensive guide to everything to know about Herobrine, but rat...

LIVE, LAUGH, HERMITCRAFT 🙏
Great vid, very concise and to the point. Kudos!
In simple terms . Everyone is kind . No one is a pdf file
this video's inspired me to start watching hermitcraft again
So the long and the short of it is it does well because it's people playing Minecraft instead of some other far inferior game they hacked together from Minecraft's engine lol
Domenica Avenue
I could never get into Hermit and stuff like Yogscast as a kid. I don’t understand why, but maybe I was edgy back then and thought they weren’t cool. 😂
Interestingly enough, this video was recommended to me a year after its release. Anyways, I do have one thing to add: The Hermits are all very mature, and I doubt an immature person would be allowed on the server. This ties into the drama point: There is little to no drama because this maturity and respect is so ingrained into the server. An example: Just yesterday, Grian and Gem posted their respective footage of the game they made for Skizz to win back the items they "borrowed". They made sure to check in with Skizz before endangering those items. And they explicitly told their audience that they did so - simultaneously keeping drama among fans to a minimum and teaching especially younger fans about the importance of consent. This is one of the things I love most about the server.
It changed so little that it didn't even get an announcement on the Official Minecraft Channel
I'm just always really upset with how classically handsome Mumbo is. The hermits are absolutely lovely though, it's the only minecraft content I consistently come back to
i just want to play spleef
I'm an older guy and I love Hermitcraft, its like a salve for the soul! Lovely video.
I find it really baffling that you didn’t mention structure blocks in this video
hermitcraft is the only smp i've ever bothered to come back to again and again. i may not keep up with everything and everyone, but when i get that minecraft itch, you KNOW i'm going to go see what xisuma and mumbo and grian are up to first. (especially mumbo, i love mumbo ❤)
Bro, what happened to the channel. You got a nice amout of subs rlly quick and stopped after 15 vids
About Tumble, you said that it's the same than Spleef, but I disagree for 2 (3) reasons: - First, there aren't evil shovels which break 20 blocks per second, It works with the player's cps. - Second, the gap... or ping from the old services of Wii U and PS3 consols. - Occasionally, we play with controller (Wii U gamepad, PS3 controller). It's actually quite funny to see that we all have completely different control parameters. 😄 I think Tumble and Spleef are completely different. There are more than two play style as I've seen in Spleef... I'll let you check these videos if you'd like to make up your own mind: - PS3 ruclips.net/video/jq5ooSdibrs/видео.htmlsi=QqEx04J5RgC_0VRC - Wii U (PS3 player) ruclips.net/video/cNhrecsbFik/видео.htmlsi=fkoWMcxlMGUBtvN6 - Wii U ruclips.net/video/InLM7ORVnwc/видео.htmlsi=gWZMHJQtYWYeVinE Personally when I watch a Spleef gameplay, I know that I can't win easily even if I'm playing against a beginner. However I'm the same type than those in this videos... What about you ?
Another thing I love is that the HermitCraft creators interact with their fanbase, they comment on videos and acknowledge their fans which encourages even more fan interactions. It's nice to be acknowledged :)
7:27 anyone know who made this build, and what season?
bro didn't start off by boring everyone with explaining hermitcraft's history and how it came about (as some youtubers covering hermitcraft do). He was straight to the point. Loved the satisfying ending at the end
I'm 50 and watch it religiously with my 13 year old daughter. The thing I love most is the friendship and kindness. What a great message to send to today's youth. ❤
I think what was said at the very end is the root of Hermitcrafts success: All the hermits are there because they have fun doing hermit things. Nearly all of them began making minecraft videos before that was a viable job. They did it because they loved it, and they still do it because they still love it. No amount of chasing views, clicks, and clout will be able to compensate for genuine love of the game. None of them are here to be influencers, and that is what makes them so influential.
Hermitcraft is the Skyrim of Minecraft. It's comfort food - a simple meal well made. While things like Lifesteal, Content SMP, 100 days, etc is fun and exciting, Hermitcraft *feels like home*
add that its a PG smp so it doesnt get offensive
Don't forget that all hermits are not normal and average people; they are often very talented and possess high social skills
Hermitcraft is heaven on RUclips for me. It is an incredible thing how something so positive can be shared with everybody.
real g’s know mindcrack is where it was at in the hayday
This exact reason is why I had to stop watching Xisuma, Hermitcraft is mostly a politics free space that attracts a young and impressionable audience, and over time i noticed Xisuma would increasingly bring up figures such as Joe Rogan or Elon Musk as if they were authoritarive, trustworthy or unbiased figures which is a bit counter to the ethos of Hermitcraft considering Elon champions many far or alt-right talking points and conspiracies and Joe Rogan regularly provides a platform for ideologues to put forward baseless claims without checking the validity of these claims, allowing impressionable followers of Xisuma to be exposed to disingenuous and often outright false narratives designed to further radicalise the listener
The Uncensored Library it would be more than enough to enter this list, not only is a miracle of a building, but also because of how much it represent minecraft can impact the real world
Agreed
I watch Hermitcraft for the exact opposite reasons I watch 2B2T
The Hermitcraft server is the textbook example of how an online server SHOULD be managed. Regardless of online game. I don't play games online BECAUSE it isn't like Hermitcraft, i.e. toxicity and bullying.
Easiest Way to explain it: Its an entertaining Reality Show but on youtube and accessible to every age group.
I'm currently watching five Hermitcraft members: Mumbo, Grian, Tango, Doc and Zedaph. But if for some reason, all of them suddenly decided to quit Hermitcraft, I would be pretty annoyed, but I also wouldn't just completely give up on the server. Instead, I'd find new Hermits to watch. Impulse, Xisuma, Ren, Pearl, Gem, Etho, or anyone else. I will only stop watching Hermitcraft when the last Hermit gives up completely, which hopefully won't happen for a very long time.
1.10 is not the worst upate at all Strays are free slowness arrows early game Polar bears drop fish on death so if you by any chance run out of food you can just kill one to get fish Husks are great for being test dummies as they dont burn in daylight unlike regular zombies and their code can be re-used to make simple custom mele hostile mobs Structure blocks, literally they save so mutch time when making a mega build on creative and structure voids can be used to make it so that when you place a structure, it wont get buried by surrounding blocks as the structure void will replace other blocks in its place with air Bone blocks are good if you have too mutch bonemeal in your inventory Allowed fishing rods to pull items Mobs refuse to walk on magma blocks so you can use them to stop mobs from entering certain parts of your base without walls And thats not even mentioning how useful the stuff became in newer upates
From going from the roleplay DreamSMP where I didn’t really like all the relationships because they didn’t feel real Now I’m in Hermircraft, where I know every Hermit’s name, and the way they all respect and dare I say it, love each other, that’s what I love about it It’s caused my mental health to genuinely boost
And now we have 1.20.5-1.21 It's a bit chaotic but damn it looks good With the april fool's potato update being potentially used as a test for future mechanics such as the grapling hook and the floater, it can only look more promising
Id say the main reason why people love hermitcraft is because hermitcraft is how we've all wanted to play minecraft. With friends, showing off our creativity and making a immersive world with stories and what not. When you look at younger groups like the dream smp or even that realm that you made with you're friends, its just people aganist each other, traveling 1000's of blocks away and grinding to get the best gear and most efficient farms (Which is why your realm doesnt last long btw). But man hermitcraft is so addicting to watch, I really want to watch everyones perspective in every season but I can't help but keep rewatching Grians hermitcraft season 6 and 7 🤣
This video aged like wine
What I like best on Hermitcraft is they don't blow up bases maliciously (well most of the time). I love looking at builds so I get sad and frustrated if these get blown up just because of a little prank. Also, even if they did blow up another hermit's base by accident, they offer to compensate or help rebuild/clean and I think that should be the standard.
MagmaMelon predicted it…
I got confuse for 1.10
Hermitcraft is like watching a bunch of Bob Rosses in a sitcom.
You have really summed up what I admire in Hermitcraft. I am amazed at the wisdom and maturity of all the Hermits and I have been binge watching past seasons to get to know the people behind the blocky figures. They are all so individual and wholesome and kind. I am in my 60s and I recognize goodness.
Hermitcraft is a force for good. It will never die.
is there a spleef plugin for 1.20.1 spigot? i would like to play some simple spleef with my niece a server ive set up. Perhaps just using a area resetter plugin?
What makes Luke TheNotable's 100-day challenges special is his personality and special sense of humor
Very thorough and concise video, and absolutely spot on. There's no wacky premise to Hermitcraft, no trendy idea it's hinging upon, nothing like that, it's pure, unfiltered, fun Minecraft experience. I think one could enjoy it even if they didn't care that much about Minecraft as a game, because at its core, it doesn't hinge around the game itself, it's a bunch of people collaborating and having fun together, creating really cool things and timeless interactions along the way. Riding a trend like the 100 days in hardcore thing may work wonders in the short term, but it is GUARANTEED to fail in the long run. Meanwhile, Hermitcraft has been extremely consistently popular and beloved for *a decade,* and for all the right reasons. Heck, thanks to its very positive additions, it's more popular than ever. Grian was the single best addition to the server and made Season 6 what it was, same with Season 7, addition of the Proximity Voice chat mod from Season 8 and above made the fun interactions of the hermits 10 times more fun as it was experienced in real-time, the Season 9 crossover thing was pretty nice and brought a lot of new eyes to the server (This was a kind of intentionally short-term popularity boost for the server, on top of its already ever-present consistent popularity, which was amazing. You can add short-term fun things over something that is made to work long-term), so on and so forth. Even though I haven't been actively watching HC since season 7, it is still phenomenal, and I'm very interested to know what they have in store for us next time.....
If the author does not mind, then I can leave servers that continue the achievements of splindux and spleef league, both in large numbers with an influx of players, and in small communities
i think the problem is that they add useless mobs to the game that are only for looks thats my opinion im not sure
The thing is they aren't dogs, they're tamed wolves
1.10 honestly felt like left over ideas they had for the past few updates and it felt like it was an update they wanted to get out quickly after the long time it took to do 1.9
