ok, theory time! (i don't usually theorise in the comments of videos since im not very good at it, but i will today because im OPSESSED! also i didn't look at the desks of the vids yet, ill look at them after and see how close i got) ok so, abbi is a celebrity/singer as said in multiple of the songs, and she got into it at a young age presumably since she's 22 in this song (doubt theys events happened in only a year or two) she was naïve and got into a relationship with a guy, but im assuming he abused her or manipulated her, maybe just bad treatment or neglect, but he wasnt treating her right is the main point. abbi starts to get sexist comments about something (i think its her boyfriend giving them to her about girls in the kitchen type stuff, or people in her fans, but im not sure) and she starts to get fed up with everything. She has a larger fan base (as in the song "abbi" we can tell a big fan is singing about her) so she probably feels presure as a lot of people do when they get popular. it seems that abbi did whatever was asked of her from her boyfriend, and maybe fans too. she acted rude because of all the stress and no one liked her anymore, so she had to rely on her boyfriend.. with everything going on, and the mistreatment with her boyfriend, she breaks and kills him. in insanity pop and if you had heard the whispers they talk about a murder.. with the focus of thoughs songs though, possibly a third party brought the idea to her head to kill him (thanks @clara1291 for pointing that out in the comments of if you had heard the whispers) there was also something to do with glitter in the murder since in insanity pop she says "your veins are filled with glitter" so maybe she injected a needle of glitter into his veins and that killed him... after she killed him she hid the body and pretended nothing happened.... but she was traumatised from the whole ordeal and couldn't handle seeing glitter anymore, or even having it mentioned. her sister (im assuming) knew about the murder and wanted to protect her because she knew no one else would. a fan presumably gave her a gift and she opened it to find a glitter bomb and started to panic and couldn't come out of her room again.. (not sure if the last part of glitter was a metaphor or she actually did that) she starts to regret everything, mostly killing her boyfriend and just wants him to come back to life and tell her he loved her again (even if it was fake) she regretted acting so mean and everything and loosing everyone who cared about her.. as she realises what she did wrong and regrets it, the internet find out and a big fan of hers is very disappointed and disgusted with her, and decides to become the new her, like they thought she was like. the fan realises though, that they are becoming like her... (maybe the fan killed abbi in the end?) there's also what happened in live footage of me having a mental break down. in her childhood she had a close friend who she made music with, the friends mom taught abbi how to play and all was well... abbi and the friend made chords and stuff, but the friend grey distant and ghosted abbi.. sorry for this long comment, i probably got 99% of it wrong too (ToT) i love this series tho- cant wait for more music from you! (off to read the desks rq to see if i got even a sliver of it right) edit: OK! SEEMS I KINDA GOT IT RLLY WRONG- it seems like in glitter thats abbis fan, not her sister lol so she killed her boyfriend (probably) and realised she did something bad, then realises what she did fully and has a mental break down. the media finds out and shes freaking out.. in glitter i have a guess now actually.. i think the glitter isnt glitter at all and its maybe photos of her boyfriend in the present and not a glitter bomb, thats why its so upsetting. abbi then has a lot of regret and stuff lol- to tired now since i typed out a whole story in the comments of this video- i think im on to somthing but im not sure, but thats just a theory, A GAME THEORY-

Ok i am VERY LATE TO THIS but i just wanted to say that i absolutely LOVE this entire EP and this song is absolutely AMAZING. The harmonies are BEAUTIFUL and i cannot wait to see what else you produce :D (also the art is amazing)

My interpretation is that the girl with the buns is trying to distract the other girl from something traumatic that happened. I think the “glitter bomb” represents the traumatic event. Especially with the “reeling at the reel playing on an endless loop” line. I’m guessing glitter was used as a metaphor here because glitter gets everywhere and you always end up finding it in unexpected places. The girl seeing the glitter everywhere probably represents how everything reminds her of the trauma. The girl with the buns trying to clean up the glitter could mean that she’s trying to account for every potential reminder of the trauma and hide it from her, but she still is always reminded of what happened. I think the first verse with muting the TV also refers to her trying to protect her from potential reminders.
