Here's a question for you lads. If you could go back in time and fish any era.. 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000.. or now, what would you choose and why?? Be interesting to see what the lads say as they have all fished different eras Cheers lads, hope you all have a great Xmas. Gary
Great video deano 👍, u were fishing 25 wraps out
Great !!! Thank you . Humble guy 🙏
Pecky is one of the best anglers in the uk/world. And Rich is the same as for an interviewer 💯%. Always askes the best questions. pleasure to listen to. Cheers fellas. 👌
I've left a lake a couple of times due to bait boat misuse. Even after asking politely where they were fishing. Progress is often overrated... especially with a moron behind the wheel.
Audio fine for me and I enjoyed the conversation. Thanks gents.
Why not try the mic that look like a fur ball on them might be better
Top man, Can you help with translation.
Audio is terrible again
Doesn’t matter when it’s Derek Harrison .. this man is the perfect guest .. nothing to plug & what a guy & listen
Think that’s just his accent.
His accent is brilliant it adds to his character . Could listen to him chat carp fishing all day , such a lovely man & a hell of a carp angler
🔥🔥
Mint wacth keep the podcasts coming korda ❤
Yes been looking forward to this 🙌
What about Korda vs OMC 😂😂😂
I'm possibly going to say something controversial here, but is carp fishing ruining fishing ? I used to carp fish, but I love fishing for specimen size of lots of species, notably tench, roach, rudd, even bream. Anyway, the gravel pits I used to fish in the 80's & 90's cambs waters, either season, club or day tickets, I can't get near them now, why ? Carp syndicates, massively expensive and sometimes closed shop. I do miss evenings spent float fishing bread flake lift method next to rushes for specimen monkey wrench..
Talk of the spinner rig but no mention of the 360
A carp fishing drone? The Korda Kopter 😅
Hurry up and copyright that !
It seems a lot of people would prefer to see a podcast about blanking for weeks whilst sticking to the rules. I loved this…
What or where in the industry do you think the next game changing product, idea or practice will come?
Never used a boat. As it takes the fun out off it. Same as drone to see where carp are. But would anyone say if I build a submarine and torpedo these you watch the upoar then. Keep fishing natural.
Never used? But you've decided it's not fun.
The amorphous was a metamorphosis 😂😂
If the moon controls the tides, I would imagine it has an effect on bodies of water! Spoke to some police officers, yes arrest do seem go up on a full moon, humans are 70% fluids, so I strongly feel the moon has an effect.
If you have a bird problem on the lake your fishing. How would you approach baiting your swims?
28:15 Three hours with a spomb. Crazy! Buy a drysuit and swim it out in 10 minutes.
Love damo’s view on technology- spot on 👍🏼👍🏼
Wanting a wi ter ticket boys
Loving this free-form format of podcast with these lads. All have valuable insight and experience and top baby’s. Loving it.
Danny didn’t like it, he didn’t invent the Ronnie rig 😂 but nice seeing him merry after couple beers 😂 great pod guys 👍
Okay, so Danny must be sober now back to being a Cunt 😂 shit on Damo didn’t give him any credit and so glad your man called him up on double standards with the drone 😂
Love the podcast, in my fifties now, I don’t knock anyone carping these days, I miss the days you could buy an RMC group ticket for next to nothing which gave you so much access to the best lakes, many of which are closed doors or years of syndicates waiting lists now . These days I just fish one week abroad now. Carp Talk was my social media back in the day. Thanks lads great podcast. Been a bit out priced these days with the cost of living which is a great shame for some.
Great pod lads keep em coming 👍 and yes the moon affects water and air pressure
What's happening with minster carp this year
Really interesting watch this was! Do you think the size of the lake has any effect on the catch rate on the different phases of the moon as well? For example would a small lake react less to a bigger lake on a full moon. Cheers.
May Simon rest in peace with all the giant carps that have passed. legend says you land every fish that bites in the afterlife. much love from Canada.
A rod, reel, bait, net, mat... s'all you need, no deeper pro's no drones, no bait boats, no GPS... the best bits of gear you have are brains, eyes, and ears... use em, learn some watercraft
I go fishing with a friend for a long weekend every 6 weeks as a social so fishing together is vital . My question is do you think place with multiple lakes like linear or Norton should have some lakes with booked pegs , it’s the only reason we won’t go to Norton Disney , risking driving for 3 hours and can’t fish together
What's your views on people putting buckets behind anglers on certain syndicate
The card is €110 for the year for the whole of France
whats your veiws on people turning there backs on lakes when the big named fish die even though they still have big fish and there beautiful like snake pit for example im seeing it more and more on some really good lakes not abandoned but it seems all about the size of carp these days not the quality so much
Would korda ever get involved in the lure fishing game with people like carl and snag bros
Hiya guys just wanna say I absolutely loving the podcast deffo need a big L couch in there few carp pillows getting it bit more relaxed n comfortable yes it's a podcast people do listen to it even I was blasting this in work through speaker loving it but I do find myself sitting down to watch it feel more involved aswell but other than that keep it up korda as alway smashing it 💚💚💚💯💯💯💯
Great conversation.. I am grateful to of fished when it was a time of scouring the mags and reading books to glean snippets of info. I’ve still got the Big Carp mag featuring Damo capture of the Snake Pit common.
Hi all, loving these podcasts. My question would be.. Probably everyone has an inspiration in carp fishing, from years ago to present day. Who were your key inspirations to fishing, not just carp but to the sport in general, what elements of their game helped you including pictures from magazines, stories and articles, tv, fishing with friends or family? Richard.
These podcasts are fascinating for someone like me who catches the odd carp but isn’t a carp specialist - had no idea so many use drones and bait boats or the lack of etiquette and consideration for other anglers which is rather sad. When I did a lot of carp fishing in the late 80’s there was always an unspoken “gentleman’s agreement” as to casting limits and swim boundaries, but then there were a lot less of us doing it and we had a lot of water to ourselves generally. A big part of the fun in angling for me is sneaking fish out from potential snags and features be that on a stillwater or river - rolling a chunk of spam under a bush on a small stream and not knowing if you’ll get a barbel, chub, ide or carp take it or whether they’ll do you in a root somewhere on the retrieve is the adventure. A drone or bait boat isn’t going to help there which keeps my wallet and wife happy 😁
I really enjoy this format, its a great watch and makes you think. My question would be winter boilie fishing, yes or no, is there an advantage over natural's? What baiting strategies would you use and if you go down the boilie route should you stop using fishmeals.
sound went a couple times again
Great again guys my question is what's your pros & cons of using baits during the year look forward to the next podcast guys 👊👊
We need to see more of Damo fishing!
Deffo 👍
💯 a uk mini campaign or a proper public water abroad .. damo & a public water would be a much watch
I've been considering getting a boat with a camera. My local is only a small water too. Purely because i watch how other people fish it, putting out 900 spombs, over feeding the swims. Would be nice to know if someone else has ruined my swim the day before i got there.
One thing for me with back leads that you did not mention is keeping your other rods safer playing another fish, i do not like it if the fish clashes with another line and potentially have to recast the rod that you have not had a take on. How Tom maker does this with tight lines 3 on a spot I don't know! Great listen guys😊
Genuine question, when would (if ever) anyone use a hair rig anymore?
I do All the time the hair rig is the best 👌
Damo is the man, proper angler.
