    I remember my friend and I writing to Tim in 1993 as school boys. He took time and care to write back to us in some detail, answering our questions. What a great chap. Thank you Tim.

    In the discussion for years is a bit of an understatement at the end. Simply put. tim you are on the mount Rushmore of carp anglers absolute fact much love from all anglers and to bring up an old saying the only reason we (anglers) see so far is because we stand on the shoulders of giants and Tim paisley you are an absolute giant in the game may you live a long happy life and snag yourself that 35+ common ❤

    Tim’s writing especially in the early Carpworld magazines hooked me into Carp fishing, I met Tim at a Carp show, absolute gentlemen. One of greats of Carp fishing.

    Top man, one of the flag bearers of carp angling as it evolved during the 70’s and 80’s. He will always have my respect.

    Fantastic podcast with Tim I'm old enough to remember the times Tim talks about, normally I get bored with long podcasts not this one could have listened for a lot longer. Thanks ,

    Great pod cast I'm pretty certain I met Tim on roman lakes about 1990 ish possibly earlier maybe late 80s I was a pleasure angler and he was one of the first carp anglers I saw fishing under a 60 in oval type brolly I either asked for some maggots or offered my left over bait he said he fished with boillies and I asked what boillies were and he shown and explained to me

    What a legend, much respect! We did the week on Birch Grove after Tim, 18th - 25th, so gutted we didn't get to meet him.

    The Boss of all carp fishing what a lovely gentleman ❤. Got loads of videos he as done and book's plus magazine. Some that inspired me as young lad when I started carp fishing in the late 80s early 90s ❤

    best interview from rich so far IMO - great questions & conversation. am sure there are plenty of us that used to savor those leader pieces in carpworld whilst he was editing. hugely influential to me so listening to this was an absolute joy.

    Amino acids are not insoluble, some are hydrophobic but most will dissolve readily in water. Even the hydrophobic ones are still detectable in water given how they will be presented.
