Amazing!!! Loved this!! Derek seemingly lived in all the carp mags i read growing up! Gutted the canal wasnt in this episode- that was an ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL CARP!!!!! Was it called Beedrug or Breedrug? Or something similar? Answers on a postcard plz to po box, big mother fucking carp!!!!
Long over due having Derek on!!! Suggestion: more European anglers please e.g. Kristof Cudermans, Eddy Sterckx, Gio Vanhooran, Alijn Danau, Luc De Baets etc
Foulridge reservoir, Barrowford reservoir were the only two places I know near Colne and the Leeds Liverpool canal and a couple of other waters where a a low twenty pound carp is a big, possibly the lake record carp.
Felt quite sad watching that. I may of got the wrong end of the stick but, for me, it comes across as he's missed a large part his kids child hood/growing up and prioritised fishing, and on the times they did spend time together as a family he dragged them to a camp site, that, in his own words was in the middle of nowhere, just for his own gratification. Yes he's caught some nice fish, but at the end of the day they are just that.... fish.
absolute legend! thanks for having him on.
Nice to see some of the older lads getting the respect they’re due.
Another absolute class podcast, love Derek Harrison, such a nice fella👌👌👌
