My name is Danny and I started building stuff more seriously during the pandemic. Now I can't stop.
I made this FROOT LOOPS GUITAR. I’m very sorry. @FrootLoops @KelloggsUS
I built this guitar out of epoxy and fruit loops. It was my first time using epoxy. I used a second hand neck and added a little fruit loop headstock decoration. It was a learning experience to be sure.
Epoxy pours are no joke.

I made this MONSTROSITY of a guitar!

I built this guitar to see if I could. I just thought a dowel based guitar would look cool. I’m not sure I was right. I’m not sure if it will break apart. But it was a fun experiment!
I made this guitar out of my PANTS! (and also wood) What should I call it?

I built this guitar and covered it in old jeans! The Denim Guitar. It was a fun project. I made it from scratch out of pine and maple. The jeans were from goodwill. The fingerboard is a product called Obsidian Ebony from a company called Thermal Wood. Stratocaster guitar build from reclaimed redwood playground lumber. Homemade wooden electric guitar! I wanted to build a Stratocaster so I stole the support beam for my kids’ swing set! It’s a solid redwood body with a maple neck. #woodworking #guitar #stratocaster

Nice job!
Weird shape. Les Paul would look more like violin than this.
The only problem for me would be the bits would need to be changed from underneath. Otherwise, well done!
oil,strings,nut and bolts,screws...$?
I give you 40$
What grit do you use when sanding the veneer?
Is this plywood 5:06
@@InstaMemhub Not plywood. The dark brown wood is the guitar top and it’s solid walnut. Then the lighter wood I inlay for the rosette is solid maple.
@@dannylewisguitars thanks for letting me know 🤗
Business idea - Instead of $30 cheap shi7 get better gear; 1) gotoh tuners $80 2) pickup $100 3) bridge $40 And add an led strip light in the body cut out cavity. Finish with a a finer sand and lacquer and sell for $589 each 🎉

Every time I watch these videos I really want to make my own. Love the plain binding and soundhole etc. Really lovely looking guitar.
What scale neck is this? Was it hard to place the bridge exactly right to match the scale-length, given that it's "floated" in the center with dowels?
The only guitar that does not require any funny tricks to sweep away the dust under the strings in the middle of the body.
amazing handwriting
@@ebaythedj do people not recognize that was my daughter? The hands are clearly child hands!
@@dannylewisguitars i guess i wasn’t paying attention very well then
@@ebaythedj I will forgive you.
Great work. I'm disappointed by the unnecessary click-bait title. You used more than three tools.
Sorry for disappointing you. I will try harder next time.
I was thinking about using an old tv dinner tray lol. After seeing this I think I'll give it a shot.
That sounds so dangerous. Better make sure the table is stable. Can’t imagine a spinning bit on a wobbly tv tray is a good idea. One tilt away from a bloody mess!
This is the kind of real hollow body guitar 😂
Nice but yet I always wished to see turning a guitar into a desk 😂
that's quality workmanship. you're quite a craftsman.
Clever on the fret markings, I like it.
Great job! Excellent woodworking!
No. Just no... 😂🤣
Very nice ! I built mine for $55 .. did u have to buy the new frets ?
What’s clear to me is that a lot of people commenting are tools, nice work 👏
Well done ! I really like the guitar !
Well done!!! Hat of for you. A word on bolt on necks. They work and sound as great as any dove tail so wise choice. 👍🏻
The most time saving, space saving, wood saving router table ever...i will build this today with leftover pallet pieces...😅 love it! ,👍👍
Turned out great! Do you use a router jig for the truss rod channel?
I looks good enough to eat! Just waiting for somebody to mention "tonewoods"...
That riff at the end lol
Very good work thank you but does it affect the depth of the router bit?
Yes it does…
I have a friend with a back problem. Is this guitar under 5 lbs by any chance?
sweeeeeet
No wood hahaha
Dude what was that ‘roller’ planer you used on the back of the neck! I wantz!!!
If you mean the black and red tool I’m using at 6:50, that’s called a spoke shave. No roller involved! This is a very cheap spoke shave I bought on Amazon. I think it was around $13. But it works great! Just have to keep the blade sharp.
@@dannylewisguitarsThat is rad! Thanks so much!
Get a Damm blade guard that how I cut off mine
Really great job Danny. The guitar looks amazing and the tone is really fantastic.
How much will you sell it for?
I... want it. It's beautiful
Awesome how much for one of your acoustic electric guitars
So far this gutar is the best ive seen from other videos
Wow. What a great build. Do you mind me asking the length of time to build? Thanks for the video.
I don’t remember exactly how many hours it took! Im a teacher, so I’m mostly off in the summer and I remember this guitar took me about the entire summer. Probably 2-3 months. Working for one or two hours most days.
Honestly would pay for that
Great job❤
Magnificient, what a great job in this guitar....congrats!!!!
Man I want a hollow super light guitar so badly. Inspiring build.
👍👍👍👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏👏👏👏
better get blade guard
Beautiful! Seem like it’s got an extremely high action though
Cool
