I have juliis & pygmys. No eggs yet but most of mine are young. I have 2 juvenile juliis loosing all coloring 😢 only med I have on hand is methelyn blue until kanaplex arrives Tuesday & api general cure body & fin tomorrow. I hope I can save them. I'm fairly new to aquarium keeping. Plants got me hooked lol

Was so excited to get a pair of albino Cory’s… then one died about a week later. UPSETTING. Thanks for pointing out the need for sand. One question, what type of filter pump do you like. I have a fifteen gallon tall tank. I wonder if my water movement is stagnant at the bottom? I just added an aerator to the bottom. NOt sure if my Cory will like that.

I just watched Aquascaping Cube channel on his personal experience trying to get Corys to start breeding. Yours is now presenting some additional information...so happy it popped up on my feed. It's the first time I saw your channel pop up so I've subscribed and looking forward to more notifications. I love my Corys. I have Albino, Pepper, Aeneas gray corydora and my one Panda Cory I have. I don't believe they've ever bred. Don't know why but anyway ... Do you have any specific foods you can recommend like brands or types? I feed algae wafers and fluval bottom feeder food...but never hurts to find more

I have been able to get my albino corridors to breed about once a week. I get 20 to 30 eggs I was letting them go and not taking them separating them and nothing was happening I was getting her babies. So I decided to get a little hang on basket net and I put them in there and waited and I ended up with about 5:00 so far. But after their sack is gone they're dying and I don't know what I'm doing wrong here I wasn't deliberately trying to bring them I only have two albinos and to Pepper in my aquarium, so I do want more to get bigger groups make them happier. Then I can move them to the 70 gallon tank once I have enough. But let me know I was giving them brine shrimp eggs

I’ve run both, and it depends on the bio load of your tank and how ‘clean’ you want the substrate… I’ve run HOB on most of my tanks to the point I just considered them normal tank equipment, I like the AquaClear line for its customizability, I use them for mechanical and biological filtration, the downside is the current they create can be detrimental to fish/invertebrates that prefer calmer water I’ve recently switched my 20 Long cherry shrimp tank to a sponge filter to protect the shrimplets (the shrimp haven’t bred yet, but I want to be ready when it happens) and immediately I noticed the shrimp became more active and explore the tank more as they didn’t have to fight the current from the HOB Right now, I have two active tanks, a 28 Bowfront stuffed with guppy grass and one extremely happy female betta, and the 20 Long shrimp tank mentioned earlier At some point I’m going to upgrade one of them to a 40 Breeder with a corner matten filter I got for free on marketplace, I’m leaning towards the 40 breeder, for some reason, the thought of a 40 breeder with a thriving colony of cherry shrimp just makes me smile…
