- Have you ever heard of these rare freshwater fish? These precious guys are Spotted Blue Eyed Rainbowfish ( Pseudomugil Gertrudae ), aren't they so unique? As I stated in this video, I ordered them because they're a dream fish of mine, but also because I wanted to give an honest review of the MicroAquaticShop, since I've seen a few people online wondering the quality of their livestock and other products. Am I impressed? Stay tuned to find out 😉

I need your help, so I added almond leaf extract to my Fancy goldfish aquarium and it created a Foam. Around the perimeter of my tank! What should I do. Maybe it’s soap from something but it’s not colorurpop rainbow it’s tiny foams 😢 HELP 😢

omg, I literally just unboxed an order of some plants and orange medaka ricefish from them 2 says ago. I laughed so hard when I realized that u hid ur address the same way as I did - stabbing the address - when I was recording a vid for my other channel. They're so skittish but they're definitely settling down now :) I'm giving them a good dose of quarantine meds and fatty foods. I already love them lol 🥰

I can't wait to see your next video! I have some CPDs as well and I'm trying to breed them, but they keep eating the eggs before I can get them out of the breeding tank lol. They breed like crazy at least so I just gotta stop being lazy about watching for the right signs lol

How many females do you have per male? I got mine recently 3 females to 7 males. They get chased so bad 😔
@@JillsFishRoom I bought 8 of them originally as juveniles, and as they grew they slowly started getting picked off by one another because somehow I only got one female and 7 males 😂 I left a few males in with one of my bettas and without the female they seem to not be killing each other any more at least and in a small 2.5 gallon I've got one male and my one and only female. I was hoping they would breed naturally and I would get some babies out of it without much intervention but no such luck. They are total and complete egg eaters! They will spawn a couple times a day but the eggs will disappear by the end of the day. I might throw a little plastic stitching pad in there soon and see if that works to protect the eggs that fall under it. They are such pretty little fish and seem to be making really nice tank mates for my one betta. I wouldn't mind putting them in more of my bigger betta tanks lol

I love the choice of the Spotted blue eyed Rainbow Fish! The tank is looking AMAZING 👏 😍 Also I thought I'd mention that if you leave your fish food open, your cat might have him/her a snack! 🤣 That's all I can think of after seeing the open food a minute into this video. Your cat needs its own channel
Alucard !! 😂 He is a total GREMLIN. I had a kilo bag of fish food powder for baby fish, and when he was a kitten, he tore through the whole thing and ate a BUNCH. To make it worse, it was all over the floors so I used my new vaccume to clean up and ever since then, whenever I vaccum it reeks like fish food 😭

Micro Aquatics is a hit and miss, unfortunately delivery of any livestock in Australia is a gamble as AusPost and all couriers seem to have their own problems.
Oh goodness. I totally meant to clarify that MicroAquatics had nothing to do with the late shipping, other than the first week when they didn't have my fish stocked. I live in QLD so that bad flooding made shipping impossible at first and then unsafe.

Does the betta have a name? I love seeing Bettas in a happy home!
Yesss! Her name is Arrawa, because she reminds me of an arrawana. I might have to move her to a different tank though. She's very good natured so I thought she would be okay with shrimp but she went on a shrimp HUNT when I was at work 😭 I'd feel bad moving her to a 5g so it'll have to be a 10g.

@@JillsFishRoom well maybe if a good colony of shrimp works up Arrawa can come back! For now a five or ten gallon is still great for a betta
