Bear rock looked much bigger once you walked up on the lower section. Not much of a lookout with the trees. Tripod rock was cool. Those toads were really neat. Whale rock…definitely looks like a whale smiling. Gotta love the trails along the water. Nice hike and video Dug 👍

Great time of the year for a good hike!

That's cool!It's funny how the big rocks are sitting like that, Ware I bike ride I see monster rocks in the woods just out of nowhere it's crazy. Lol! If I would of crawled under that rock my luck it would have fell and smashed me!

Oh a hiking vid. I always like it when you change it up a little. Ha. I suppose if I had read the title, I would have known it was hiking and not fishing lol. Hmm. That's odd the he missed the rock over many years. It's a pretty big rock LOL. It does look like a pretty nice clean trail. Yeah hiking close to the road can mess with the peacefulness of a hike. I honestly have no idea if any of our parks have glacier deposits. I rarely read the signs, as you probably know from watching our vids 😆 You would think they could update the map to be a little more accurate. Great vid.

Wow, tri-pod rock is impressive with those smaller rocks under it. All those big boulders are impressive actually. I can imagine whale head rock rolling down that hill, lol. It's nice to get out and hike in nature. Climbing mountains used to be a hobby of mine in my early twenties. I even travelled to British Columbia to hike some bigger ones. I don't know what made me stop, but watching this makes me want to start again. I really enjoyed watching this.

Fishing definitely heals all wounds. Also crappie fishing is something I want to explore more of. I think I only caught one in my life. My husband caught 2 this past summer. Hope you feel a bit better now. It sucks getting laid off.

The scale can be repaired, remove the back of the scale and find the small lock nut. Hopefullly it is still in the scale raddleing around. Replace the clamp, screw on the locknut and replace the cove =r and it should be good to go. It will probably happen again in a couple of months of use , just put it back together again. This does seem to be a real design flaw

This is a horrible way to find out you were laid off, especially while you were fishing and not thinking about work. 😢 I enjoyed seeing the turtle and underwater footage. Happy you found another job and you kept on fishing after the bad news. 😘

Fishing is a great stress reducer. For crappie, I like to put a 1.5 inch gulp minnow on a small jighead.

Nice slabs! One of the few fish I have to contemplate about keeping or throwing back. Love me some crappie filets.
