    I love that queen in the second box she was so big i could see her from down here in southern New Zealand 😂 great brood comb though, wow that's awesome. Seems like all the beekeepers i watch from the states are having the same thing happen, nice brood and great autumn flow to build into winter. Brilliant 👍 im kinda weirded out about the queen cells though maybe it's a pheromone issue because that brood looked fantastic 🤷😃

    • @CastleHives
      @CastleHives 7 дней назад

      I was weirded out also seeing those cells. I think, at least my guess, is that since she is a newer Queen that her pheromones aren't quite strong enough yet. Her pattern and behavior is great, so we'll see. Those cells were moved, so hopefully i'll get another one like her. Appreciate you watching. And from New Zealand at that. .

      I was supposed to receive queens this week In a couple of days but spring, which up to this point has been 62 degrees F and clear skys decided to go to the pub and gave winter the keys to get back in 🥶 the blossoms popping out but it's to damn cold for the bee's to fly 😬 3 inches of snow on the ground, we got more snow this week than we had all winter. Disaster for the pollenation circuit guys around here and the willows have just started producing pollen which is a disaster for me 🤦 been waiting for it all winter 😂 is what it is can't have a great start every year. Pollen sub on and extra feed so everything is alright, I don't think I'll get too much of a drop in brood production 🤔
