I live near Luke AFB and the planes are loud but it rarely bothers me. Nearby are many warehouses and factories but inside the community its quiet and peaceful.

More than 200k Californians moved to Arizona between 2018 and 2022! Wonder how Dems won many races including for Attorney General!!! 😮I don’t mind higher taxes if it pays for worth and good services. But progressives use that as mean to equalize outcomes.

My wife and I actually signed a contract for that floor plan. Unfortunately, during the design process many of the choices we made (electrical, plumbing, etc.) were marked up by as much as 300% over actual cost. It was the same thing at the design center and with Camelot's vendors. Everyone added exorbitant markups. We had to cut so many items that it was no longer a house we wanted. We wound up canceling the contract, which cost us nearly $200K. We wound up finding a custom home builder, designed our dream home from scratch on a one acre lot in a subdivision the same size as Stone Crest for about the same amount of money as the stripped down Camelot house would have cost. Approximately $3.25M. Buyer beware of all the hidden markups and budget accordingly.

Check out buckeye, especially verrado area. Unless u r a karen or a Kevin. Dont bother. It's a consecutive community. Very family friendly.

Lehi crossing is a great community the loop 202 is the least traveled compared to the south loop. The airplane issue is also overrated.

I'm in the west valley and all the farmland is being built up into housing/apartment developments or warehouses. I miss the farms and open fields. Everything is getting so crowded.

If you buy a new home, you’re probably buying one an hour plus away from the city in Phoenix. Also, don’t ever buy in South Phoenix, Levine, or Maryville. Those communities might as well be Compton, California.

So glad we bought an existing remodeled 48 year old home in Phoenix. 3 years ago. Our realtor advised against buying new homes anywhere in the valley.

I am not comfortable with the situation no matter how it’s described. I have read about the 50 year drought experienced by the Anasazi civilization over 500 years ago, I have read about the technologies being used today in Phoenix, and I have watched this video to the end with his optimism. It’s too precarious for my comfort. It’s my opinion and my preference. In addition, I really cannot physically take the heat anymore.

Interesting, I am considering The Grove and being that close to the highway was actually the reason I loved it. So close and fast to get on and off.

Got myself a government job (less money than my corporate job) down south and never looked back leaving phoenix. Wouldn’t give up my Cochise county acreage with some of the phenomenal mountain views (especially during sunrise/sunset) you’ve ever seen. If I told you what I bought it all for including brand new house 10 years ago you’d never believe me. You can hear nothing but insects and coyotes. Tranquility is priceless and I am in Tucson in no time with no stress with FSD on Tesla. Hint: I paid a lot less than the shoebox house next to the landfill…😅

I’ll be honest, I’d rather back up to a road and upgrade to good dual pane windows than live in a fish bowl where all the neighboring houses windows look into each other windows and backyards. When it comes time to relocate we are going to look at newer used homes in single story neighborhoods in already built out communities.
