Personally, i want to believe that Ceroba would trick you and kill you like Sans does in the OG undertale. Trying to hold your hand or something and stabing you with her stick (or whataver that thing it is)

True Genocide is still worse, as Chara actually destroys the entire underground. There is quite literally no life left in the original ending. As Sans said, he made a friend at the end of the day. That's what really matters
