This is an interesting idea of the Animatronics getting worn down instead of being immediately taken apart by William Afton, but him getting caught in the Springlock failure that turned him into Springtrap on the Night 1 minigame isn’t as satisfying as the original where all the victims of the MCI take their revenge on William for their untimely deaths by his hands after finishing Night 5
Oh, I definitely believe that night 5's minigame is superior, there's no topping that! This was more or less just a bunch of ideas mixed together, I'm not the most well-versed in Fnaf's lore so it may have even messed with the story, if I had to try to walk you through the narrative it'd be something like: - The spirits of the children can leave the suits once they become worn or 'Loosened' enough - The shadow bonnie figure, the same one needed to complete the happiest day minigame, has a 25% chance of spawning in the minigame, in which interacting with it will spell 'C-O-L-L-E-C-T-F-I-V-E' - You walk around finding up to 5 'handcranks' around the establishment to break down the animatronic, (using the same phone hand sprite on Fnaf 2's purple guy and hinging on the early theory that it was a handcrank) - Return to the shadow bonnie for the final bit of 'Loosening' - Line yourself against either corner in the room before the saferoom, start pressing left and right whilst holding up to clip up like you can do in some of the other series' minigames, leaving the animatronic behind - Kill magenta man, profit (an invisible wall will prevent you from leaving the safe room area by this point) - The sprinbonnie screen is meant to harken back to the 3 rare 'death' screens you could get from the game whilst also being a realistic screen to the springlocking - Menu time At the end of it all the killer is dead and the spirits are freed, though grossly underwhelming like you said! Are the steps pretty convoluted and hard to follow? Absolutely, even I had a hard time describing the steps in better detail... but i feel like it's also basically on par with all the random requirements for the real true end of the game so I feel like it's even, still though thanks for giving your 2 cents on this! Really made me nostalgic for the first few games 🥲
Thanks! I'm a little late to this but I guess it could be debated that the chance bit doesn't fit with Scott's style, I'm mainly of the opinion that it still does personally! After all, getting an encounter with purple guy is entirely chance-based (Even in Fnaf 3 purple dude is actually on a randomly generated timer that causes him to spawn and dismantle you anyway if you never progress to the 'Err' room), but ye I can see the points for having it be a guaranteed thing!
@@JQR. All the stuff for the good ending isn't chance based so you can do it consistently. Having to beat night 1 several times just to get Shadow Bonnie seems pretty boring imo
@@leftory684Hm, I see where you're coming from and if you were actively looking for it I can see how it'd frustrating: but I wanna challenge it a bit, this is mainly supposed to be a secret thing rather than a full on different ending (purble man still dies, kids go free, just framed differently), something not meant to be normally found Following the logic you said, wouldn't that make any kind of secret or easter eggs in the games boring to get since most of everything is chance based? (Aforementioned prlpe guy in Fnaf 2, random Shadow freddy spawn in Fnaf 3 Office, Fnaf 2 death screens, most of the camera rare screens in the first two games, ect.) People didn't just encounter these first time playing through and likely took many tries from other people to find, which is what I was trying to followe! I suppose a good analogy would be, 'I don't play Fnaf 3 to see all the secrets, I play to play it as a game, though if someone were to upload a secrets video I'd likely still give it a watch since I'd still want to see'
I like this. I like the wrenches(that's what I think they are) throughout the different rooms looking like Purple Guy's weird hand from the FNAF 2 "S A V E T H E M" minigame, as It's possible he could actually be holding something in that minigame from the second game, rather than just having a weird-shaped hand. I like the animation of Shadow Bonnie twisting Freddy's head at 4:34 - 4:40. I like how sudden it is, sort of like a mini-jumpscare, and how uncannily smooth the animations of Shadow Bonnie's arms and hands are. The fact that Shadow Bonnie's arms move way too smooth for FNAF's 8-bit styled minigames is unsettling and I like that, like how smooth the animation is of the cutscene of Circus Baby grabbing Elizabeth in the cupcake minigame from Sister Location (I know the post-Custom Night Michael Afton cutscenes use a lot of smooth animations but still). I like how the child's ghost comes out of Freddy due to being too withered and damaged, chasing Purple Guy into the Springbonnie suit, leading him to get springlocked, showing how we've already been through this and that it's getting straight to the point. The thing I LOVE about this is the still image of Springtrap twitching from the FNAF 3 trailer, but just edited to be more bloody. I like that it implies that this is what it looked like immediately after Purple Guy got springlocked, and the fact that it's just a still image with FNAF glitching sounds in the background gives me VHS/analog horror vibes, and that's why I love it the most.
You were right about the handcrank/ wrenches bit! Didn't know how many people would have been able to catch that really since its an old theory but ya did. You're right about most things really, spirit leaving the suit due to being too withered, and the intentional smooth animation for shadow bonnie! As for the image of springtrap, it's more meant to be like the rare death screen ls you can get in-game get, but I guess do be also looking like a spooky vhs video, haha
@@JQR. Yeah, I’ve been in the FNAF fandom for a LONG time. I’ve been a fan since 2014-2015, so I was 9 or 10 at the time, and I’m 18 now. That’s how long I’ve been in the fandom for. I’m not sure if I’ve heard of the Purple-Guy-is-the-Phone-Guy theories back then, but I remember hearing about one theory at the time that Phone Guy is in Springtrap, which is close enough.
