Katherine Helmond was a great talent.

At 15 minutes in I had to listen to what the dad said to the kid 3 times because I kept hearing “Quit jackin’ off.” When it was “Put your napkin on.” LOL jeez O thought this flick had taken a weird turn.

The right wing forced ABC to pull this show. So much for the right wing not being about getting things cancelled. THEY INVENTED IT!

Not anyone I know except me remembers "mi puerco de ganas". I was only like 7 and I still remember only that to this day and I am in my 50s.

Having only seen the "Merlin's Shop" version of this I was not prepared for the twist of Pleasant Susan being the evil monkey's night slave

I'd only ever seen the heavily edited version in Merlin's Mystical Shop Of Wonders and I always wondered what happened to the girlfriend. After the dog scene she's just gone and never mentioned again in that one.

At 9:10ish... the kiddy-land 'gator' ride, I was an 18 yr old young girl operating that ride that the young actor was on that day. I remember it like yesterday. I helped him on the ride, it ran its course, then helped him off the ride. I remember saying to him, "so you're a little movie star huh?" He just kind of smiled as I helped him down and handed him off to his crew people. You cant see me clearly, but Im under the umbrella at the edge of the ride/gate area operating it, in a red shirt. Film quality then isnt very clear. I had just moved to California from Oklahoma and gotten my first job there. The fair was "Foley & Burke show of shows" in Santa Rosa Ca...(I had never seen movie stars of any caliber in Oklahoma, so I was a little star struck Lol). I know no one can see me or would recognize me...but I know its me and it brings back so many memories from those days watching this ❤

I use to think the ending of this movie was a real gut punch, and then I watched The Mist.
