Props for pronouncing José properly! I adored The Three Caballeros as a kid because I’ve got a Brazilian immigrant for a parent. Zé is immensely popular in Brasil thanks to a long-running comic, and the couple times I visited Disneyworld in the last ten years the place was absolutely packed with Brazilian tourists. (Or at least my biased eye noticed them more… 😅) Coco may be more popular in North America but if they change the ride they’ll be getting rid of the one appearance of Zé in the entire park, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they leave it alone for a while.
