Ha-ha, my first set was this one! Thats why I'm here. I'm an avid model railroader in HO scale now but still have it on a shelf in my family room. I too lost the stack and the light on the slope back tender as a child and replaced them later when I dug it out to put it on the shelf. My caboose end pieces are in bad shape also. I remember the box but don't remember what happened to it. Wonderful video thanks for sharing.

I think I’m seeing a pair of parallel tracks and I kinda see where they tie in on the front side. But on the back side past the bridge not sure where they go. It ties in somewhere since trains are running.😊

So cool, Dave! The run was great and the expansion adds so much to the layout. The Baby Ruth box cars make a neat train, for sure. The museum is a fine place. I really like all of the old, lithographed stuff, it is so whimsical. Not just the Marx, but the Lionel stuff, like the Mickey Mouse Circus Train, is just incredibly cool. That Lionel stove is basically the precursor to the Easy Bake Oven, like my sister had when she was a kid. Lionel's history is just boundless. All-in-all, an excellent video, as always.

Love those Erie FA-2s and the giraffe zoo car. 💯

Great tips I am working on servicing numerous 6” tin cars for my all marx layout, I have done some of these repairs but not all. Can’t wait to do more. The red frames are prewar
