An all-around great video your visit the Great Lakes region for Train-A-Palooza, Dave! A nice variety of shops and featuring some impressive layout video. Looking forward to part 3!
Great video, Dave, you captured some great footage Clem's, and Don and David's layouts! It was so great to see you again. Thank you for sharing and I will be looking forward to the next one. Take care! Bill B.
Very nice! Those layouts are just fantastic. I don't get to Detroit too often, these days. I did get there when I worked for the railroad every couple of months. There is some good rail fanning in the area. You must have made a few side trips to accumulate that much mileage. Detroit is about 50 miles north of me here in Toledo, so it is about 650 miles from Detroit to Atlantic City, where my family is from. There are some great sites along the way, historic and train related. It's great that you had a fine trip and got to see some of our areas hot-spots. An excellent video, as always.
I definitely took some detours on the way there, over 700 miles, drove all over the place while there, the drive home was more direct and about 660, maybe 2000 was an exaggeration, I’ll have to track my mileage better next time like my grandfather taught me to!
@@dagryffynhobby I've been documenting my mileage for years. The main reason is that it lets you know when something ain't right, like if you're are getting a lot less miles per gallon. Either way, it's great that you had good time and enjoyed Train-A-Palooza. Maybe, some day for me.
Nice work Dave. . By how fast I was speaking in your video, I definitely had WAY too much caffeine in the drive over.😂 . Really I'm enjoyed chatting with ya!
Please put the hobby stores general info on your tour so we can see it and know about when, how and where to go to visit or call them if interested in contacting them.
I usually try to put a link in the video description. I could not find web sites for these stores. If I find info I’ll put it in the description. Otherwise, try Google.
Enjoyed the video Dave! Is there a site or page to see more of Don/David Lambert’s layout? My layout is based on Altoona also and I like seeing other people’s versions.
I can say that steam locomotive number 90 is not worth 1800.00 dollars at all used, did that person fall and bump there dam head? I saw a used brand new number 90 steam locomotive for 700.00 dollars and there was nothing wrong with that one at all.
trains in this video were wonderful. The trains sounds were really good. However, the chatter in the background needed to be removed. Whoever, it was speaking in the background ruined this video. There conversation wasn't even train related. Sounded like a lot of male one up man ship. Haven't heard crap like that since I was in high school.
Glad you enjoyed the trains. That’s the downside of filming during open houses. There are always multiple conversations going on. I’m not tech savvy enough to know how to remove part of a sound track, so it’s the best I could do.
Thank You Dave for taking us along! Great trains indeed! Happy Railroading
Glad you enjoyed it!
Nice work Dave! The shops look very interesting indeed and the layouts more so! Thanks for bringing us along!
Glad you enjoyed it!

@@johnandrus3901 that’s what I was taught to do as well, it didn’t even occur to me that I had stopped until I took this trip.
Nice...
Thanks

Hey too much caffeine happens to the best of us! Great seeing you again.
I hope they can show some N scale stuff
I don’t tend to show N, I really focus on O but I do love N, I hope to start a small N layout at some point

I saw you in peaches trains video of Train paluza
Just hanging out in the background lol. I don’t think I had actually met her yet at that point

Thanks! Yes, they have a channel, I just added it to the video description.
If your going to show O Guage then please let me know! I'm a real railroading and only want to watch real trains that run on 2 not 3 rails😂😢!
Hahahahaha you’re a real railroading?

Lionel legacy Strasburg 90 has a retail price of 1899.99, there are other Strasburg engines in the 700 range.

Too much o! If it doesn't run on 2 rails like a real railroad, it isn't real and not interesting to see!
Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahaha
