The 695 version of the Shaft Shark (since I have Flexofold too). AB marine advised size 93 mm. Is it the same you purchased? It would great for me to know, thank you. By the way, next winter we plan to cross the Atlantic from Europe with our Itacatamaran. We would be so happy and lucky to cross path with you guys. You are an inspiring example. As a sailor for decades...we lost our keys a few times, and one time not so lucky that anything wanted to open, we slept outside in toxedo and gala dress, Not the best experience in 37 degrees C. Next morning I was lucky to remember that I kept a key in my office, and we got that send to us. Meanwhile staying in a hotel as we could not get in. It proofed the boat was well protected. After that we created a secret spot, waterproof and invisible for others, not going to say here. But it happened again we just opened the key safe and opened the boat.

I hope Holly learns to trust Stephan more, this sailing season.

Would you have the 'complete' recipe for avoiding mold (and the musty smell) in your boat? And it should be 'published'! I heard that the A/C was kept on (and a tarp all over the boat). Was that enough, all by itself? Any additional stuff: dehumidifier, ventillation/fans, odour absorbers, fumigation...? I had a boat in Canada mothballed over the cold and dry winter months and it still had a musty smell in the spring.

We've just left our Seawind 1370 in Thailand after a month of cruising the island on the east side of the Gulf of Thailand. Heading back to Northern California for the holidays, and to spend some time at our Tahoe cabin. Thanks for sharing your adventures. We hope to get to the Caribbean in late 2025 or 2026. Was the AC unit another service provided by that marina?

Friends did that during covid ( last yacht thru canal) despite the doom and gloom of sai!ing North they had no issues that ' conventional 'wisdom say can't be done. but I guess you know, that coast though???
