All i have to say i enjoyed the video and please visit again, and im so glad tobago stayed pristine and a little underdeveloped one or two big name hotels woul boost tourism and create jobs but tobago is paradise protect it
Remember it's Charlotteville and not Charlottesville. You also said day two of exploring Trinidad but you are in Tobago. Great footage. Glad to see you enjoy this beautiful island.
@SailingAWEN listen I'm from trinidad and tobago great video please visit again really enjoyed your video you pronounced it perfectly I mean it's no big problem be blessed
I thoroughly enjoyed watching this. The video was beautifully put together and I am so proud to see my dear friend Junior Thomas of Unique Tobago Tours (highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) as your guide. The rainforest is my ‘second’ home as my mom and grandparents lived there and it’s lovely to see you guys enjoyed every moment of the Tobago experience.
Thank your for showcasing Tobago, I was born there by Ft King George now living in the US, great content and awesome video quality, I miss those beautiful sunsets !!
Have fond memories of being anchored there 10+ years ago. We loved Tobago and spent a long time between Grenada, Tobago and Trini, before slowly heading west towards the canal. Btw, sorry to ask, but please pronounce it Toe- bay-go ! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Awesome video!Born in Trini but live in NY.Been there twice but not to many areas. You’ve shown a bit of everything…. now I feel that I’be been there too.Really peaceful, beautiful and such simple living.U both seem like lovely folks.Be careful of the storm.Extending your vacation is not such a bad idea.Sending prayers and Blessings.Looking forward for more videos.👍🙏🌴💐💐
love the content, that peer fruit u were eating is locally called Pomerac in Trinidad and Tobago but the rest of the world knows it as Malay Apple or Rose Apple or Plumrose.
According to AIS, you're now in Trinidad. The anchorages/marinas will be FULL in Trinidad with the boats fleeing Beryl in Grenada! Hopefuly it won't be too rough in Trinidad.
We hope so, we arrived in Trinidad this morning before the mad rush and have found a spot we hope works 🤞🏻🤞🏻 at some point you have to trust your plan, the boat, the anchor and the (eh um) weather models. Sailing is the ‘art of letting go.’
I know you've said you have wanted to keep things "light" on Awen but I suspect when you get to the south Pacific phase of your travels you'll really wish you had your own dive compressor. Maybe something you could get something small/portable even if it only lives on Awen for a year or two? It also makes you popular with other cruisers ;)
Google has pronunciation prompts, To-bay-go. You entered Charlotteville , Charlottesville is in Virginia and other places. Place names are part of a people's culture, please respect it!
@@Raggaz-u1r why allyuh so annoying?? Just enjoy the clip and stop schooling the people, you’re about the hundredth person to correct them, and it’s not that serious.
Your about the hundredth person to correct these people, and that’s so annoying. just relax and enjoy the clip and stop being so anal. After all, pronouncing the name of an island and some fishing village is not that serious. can you all be anymore embarrassing?
@@SailingAWEN Not to spoil the next video, but current forecasts indicate no serious weather issues if you stay put. Be safe and as always, I'm looking forward to your very well produced, informative and entertaining videos. 🙂
@@SailingAWEN Yikes! Must have been a wild ride but it was a good decision to head south for the leeward side of Trinidad based upon Beryl's path over Tobago.
@rmkep it was actually really tame, the last storm sucked the wind so we have 10 knots downwind so had to motor because we stored all our downwind sails prepping for our haul out.
Hi thank you for coming to TNT appreciate it hope you are having a wonderful stay blessings ❤️😃🙏
Best episode ever!! I am glad to see the yachtie folks talking to very knowledgeable locals with eveness and respect!

Wow, so many different names for one fruit

Pimento peppers are great for seasoning your meats/fish. Save the seeds and plant them. 🙏🏽☺️🇹🇹

We have a small compressor, a Nardi 👍🏻, to drive on the anchor and clean the hull. We might need to find a boat buddy with a real dive compressor 😁

With a potential large hurricane set to move through the Tobago area, what is your plan?
That would be a spoiler for our next video :-)

put a canon like that on the boat 🙂
We already have one canon on the boat so that’s quite enough. lol 🤣🤣 (Holly)
Please pronounce the name of the Island right

Good video but it is pronounced To-BAY-go
It"s To_ba-go not To- baa- go
It's not To-bah-go. It's To-bay-go
