That's a great question, but unfortunately I don't have the answer for it. Might be best to reach out to the company to be sure but I know they come in different lengths depending on the vehicle they are made for.

Yes, but I can still use the door like normal. I just couldn't leave the door up on it's on weight. I still haven't taken the time to replace the strut to this day, but I can still use and drive the car fine without having to leave the door up. I can also still lift it myself if I wanted, just can't stay up itself. Hope this makes more sense. Thanks for the question and your time.

@thesinistercamaro let's say I get the Vertical doors installed, and later on down the line I want to go back to my normal doors. Would I be able to do that?

@joshuas9048 can't speak on other cars as the install may be a little different, but on cars like mine, you can mostly have it back 100% if you wanted. The only part you can't revert back would be the little bit of cutting to the fender you have to do. Worst case, just get new fenders or go to a salvage yard to get OEM ones if you wanted. Other than that, everything should go back to the way it was.

In order for the door to open straight up from the closed position, your car/truck would need to be designed for it. Since these are modifications for just the hindges, they are not going to do that without some serious fabrication, unfortunately. As far as closing from when you are sitting down, I have a metal piece in the bottom corner I grab or I can use the bottom tray of the door panel to pull mine down. It's heavy, so the strut has to be tough to hold it up too. If you have a lighter door like a Corvette, it's much easier to pull down and let up. Hope this helps.

If you pressure wash directly on the motor, it could cause failure. I've driven my through puddles, standing water, etc and it's been fine. It's tucked enough to not be as big of an issue as long as you don't specifically shoot up 2500+ psi or whatever at the motor for the steps. Hope this helps. Thanks for stopping by

Are you asking for the process or the bulb? I think I put the bulbs I used in the description but the process is the same. Twist/pull to get it out of the socket, pull bulb out, put new one in, push/twist to get it back in the housing. Hope this helps.

Confusing grammar, but I think I get the basic concept. My wife doesn't do these things, so I showed that even she can do it and it's easy. Black shirt issue was addressed in other comments and corrected in other videos already. Usually, hyperflash happens when you have a low resistance if you are going from a regular bulb to an LED or you have a bulb out completely. What bulb did you use to replace the old one? Are you working on the brake light or reverse lights?

If you plug the old bulb back in, does that work still? If the old bulb doesn't come on, then could be a fuse. If the old bulb does come back on, your new one might be a dud. I've also seen where it could also be the trunk latch since that's what controls it coming on also. Fuse on the 5th Gens for trunk light are in the instrument panel fuse area and it's labeled F23.

You could do it yourself as long as you kept the stock hindges (or buy new ones), get a used or new fender (since the fender would need to be cut a little and you can't reverse that), and you would also need to replace the insulation in the fender for the road noise. Parts could be gotten from a doner car or a junkyard if you're can't find them on eBay or marketplace. Hope this helps.

Lots of people would rather not deal with them and would rather do it themselves. I know I wouldn't trust someone who asks what motor is in my car when looking for wiper blades personally, but that's just me.

@thesinistercamaro That's because there are submodels of cars. Meaning one model with a different engine might take a different size wiper. Not a big deal answering their questions for free service. Some people here said struggled for 1 hour in the rain. Is that smart??

Interesting question I haven't been asked before. I haven't heard of it affecting anyone's insurance. Of course, with all things, if you want to cover custom parts, you can put it on your insurance, and that will make it go up since they are covering more, but usually people just put them on and don't tell insurance. If the car gets stolen or crashed without insurance to extra pieces you put on, then we chuck it up as a loss and move on. It's all a matter of preference, but I can say I have never added my additions to my insurance plan. Hope this helps.

@@jorqlip you can willingly call them if you want but they will want to know more about how much $$$ you want to insure rather than the actual aftermarket part. If you don't tell them, they won't see it as an added value and will just give you the fair market value for the car itself in case of a crash or theft. I haven't hurt of many people wanting to do that unless they have something like a high value exotic or restored classic car. Basically, it will only go up if you choose to want to insure it yourself.
