Please, ignore my comments about the air vent rings in this video. The rings come with no instructions and it wasn't until I looked at the reviews that I discovered they are different. They are not too bad, they look good, but idk how it will be in the long run. I do love the center console and cup holder stuff 🤘🏻
I heated mine up with a heat gun and that made the adhesive adhere better.
Just a quick note on the vent rings. They should come labeled as 2 small and 2 large size. The large go on the outside vents by the doors. Also a little heat will help the adhesive to bond.
They did not come like that for me. Just a plain box and package well to save the rings from getting damaged. I did see a number 3 on a couple of them, but I didn't realize they were different sizes until AFTER I posted the video 🤦🏼♂️ I put that in the disclaimer in the description and top comment. Thanks for this. Maybe next time, I'll run it by you before I attempt. Glad to have you hear for things like this
I have all three of those mods. I was a little worried about the vent rings and paddle shifter covers staying on, but 4 months later everything still looks great. Looks good with red seatbelts.

The rings are different sizes, mine came in small and medium, the outer rings are slightly larger. I did the same thing you so I had to switch out the two that didn't seem to fit.
You are right! I found that out after I posted the video 😂 my luck. When I removed them a few months later, they were really on there, so no worries about them coming off once they are on. 🤘🏻
Anyone know if there is a green version of the kits they sell for all the interior accessories? Or should I buy them and get them wrapped?
I searched around and see they have red, blue, black, white, and Yellow for the cup holder package. Cupholderhero has green for a Kia I see, but not Camaro.

Looks like you might have to wrap/paint the rings around the vent covers. Depending on wrap material, it might be too thick to wrap around the edges though without it peeling back up or interfering with the tape on the back.

How’d the air vent rings hold up?
Still great! I actually went to take them off the other day as I made a new video that I need to post where I upgraded them to the red carbon rings. I had to take a heat gun and burn my hands a couple times to get these off, so once they are on for a couple days, they will REALLY be on. Hope this helps! Thanks for checking out the video

No problem! They held on very well! I recently removed them to put on some red carbon instead and it took a heat gun to get the rings off and goo gone to get the little bit of residue off the vents. Other than that, they work great! No damage to the vents at all is you decide to remove them.
Where did you get your floormats
They came with the car. I ordered the premium floor mats when I ordered the car.
i would put 3m double-sided tape on the bottom of the cup holders, i bought them and put drinks and it would stick to the bottom of the drinks and i would throw out the drinks and it would stick to the bottom.
I didn't think about that until I did the same thing. Now I can't find one of them because of that. 😂 Thanks for the tip as it could save others from the same fate!

Haha I'm working from home so it's much easier to get to comments. I have lost one of the cup holder circles (got stuck to a cup and I can't find it now). The vent rings are still on with no issues. Extended Paddle shifters are still on with no issues.
Are those seat cover?
These are the stock seats that come in the ZL1. No seat covers in this car 😎

Honestly, I came from a 5th gen SS with heads/cam. Difference in power is amazing! Love the interior on the ZL1. However, I will say I did have one major issue when I first got the car. Ordered the car new, car arrived at dealer, Signed the papers, walk out of the dealer with 5 miles on the car, and lifter failure (common issue for a lot of GMs new around the time but mainly the C8s). Dealer Replaced all of the springs, lifters, etc. Less than a week later I got it. After the car was broken in easy, I got into it a few times and it's a blast. Then, I got a check engine light about a month or two ago. Brought to dealer and they cleared it but couldn't get the knock sensor to repeat the issue, so I took it back. They said maybe it's a glitch and I got into it to bring it up (I was easy on it all day that day it happened). Ever since then, no issues at all. Lots of fun. Lots of oem pops and crackles. Looks like nothing on the road and people ask all kinds of questions about it. Wing, canards, and supercharger since not many people get ZL1s it seems in my area.
One more thing, I hear the 17-18 ZL1s have oil pump issues. I believe there was a recall for them to get fixed, but if people don't it could wreck the motor. 19s and up don't have that issue from what I am told.
So, are they still on there?
They were until I took a heat gun to them and took them off to install some red carbon fiber rings. These were not coming off at all. They were on so good I thought I was going to rip the vents out of the car 😅

On the ZL1, not yet. Trying to get the big cosmetics done and ceramic coating on the car first. Been planning for a year and it's about to get decked out. Then, I will be chasing 1000hp+ on it.
