can you tell me what are difference between Camaro 2SS and SS 1LE? thanks you
Of course! When looking at the models, you can have 1SS, 2SS, and you can even add the 1LE package on top.
1SS means you get the V8 motor, but the extra luxuries are minimal from the factory. No leather, no heated seats, etc. Some may have this option as an afterthought, but most are stripped down and cheaper.
2SS with have your V8, but with more extra luxuries added in too. My 5th gen is a 2SS/RS, so not only did it get the extra luxuries being a 2SS, it also got the RS (Rally Sport) package too. That came with the hid headlights, daytime running lights, and a few other things I can't remember.
1SS on the 5th gens have the white SS logo. 2SS on the 5th gens have the red SS logo.
The 1LE package is the track package. Basically, extra added features for a road course race track. Suspension, rear end gearing, aero, etc. I wouldn't get one of these unless you like the fact that it is rare, more expensive, and you are planning to take it to the track a bunch.
I believe the 1LE package can be added to just about every model (ZL1, SS, and maybe even the V6 and 2.0T models too).

Yeah, it is getting weird with them since the chip shortages and such. Might have a rare year since they don't really plan to make many 2021 models (won't matter much since I'm going all out on this one though 😂). Gt500 is a great car. Can't go wrong with either one. I drive this ZL1 every chance I get and it always puts a smile on my face. So much fun 🤘🏻
nice video, out of curiosity does camaro comes with adaptive headlights, i can see they adjust automatically but do they follow the steering wheel angle too. would love if you can make video on that .
Great question! I can say in my 10 years of being in forums and groups, no one has ever mentioned that on any of the models Chevy has for the Camaro. I see a forum where people have asked about it back in 2018, but the answer seems to be no at that time. I know the caddy's and BMWs (maybe even Lexus) has them, but I doubt Camaro has it. I've driven at night and I haven't noticed the lights moving at all, but I will do some research and find out for sure. If it does have it, I will make a video for you. Ok u want a recommendation old camaro vs new 🤔🤔🤔 drag and track times
I was actually planning on the new vs the old comparison video so we are on the same wavelength. Idk if it will be a good test to drag them since SS is on 22s and skinnies while the Z is a road course car, but we may be able to make it happen after it gets wrapped. Those drag strips kill our paint around the gills of the car with the little rocks getting thrown by the tires. I should know since I dragged the SS when it was stock a few times. 😂

Ahh I understand now, thanks. I love the zl1 platform. The 6th gens (in my video) have the same motor as the Z06 Corvette. LT4 With the supercharger. If you plan on just driving around town to enjoy and maybe go to a couple track days at the drag strip or an airstrip event, stick with the zl1 without the 1le package as the extra aero will drag you down. I would only recommend the 1le track package if you plan on going to the road courses with it. The zl1 with the 1le package is built for road courses rather than top speed.
If you do go with the 1le and you get the track tires that we have on ours, make sure to have tires on standby or an extra wheel setup to swap on it day 1. These soft compound track tires will pick up every single thing on the road and will throw it up against the paint/mirrors. They only last about 5-10k miles and are terrible in the rain. They are track tires, so they work best on the track.
The ride in the 1le version is rough on city roads since it is track suspension and the roads around here are not taken care of like other cities. It's more rough than my 5th gen on 1.4" lowering springs and thin tires. The recaro seats are nice that they hold you in place, but are not restrictive like a full bucket seat. The auto heated/cooked seats are a nice luxury feature too I've noticed.
Camaros have a bunch of blind spots with the bid pillars in the front and the slanted front/rear glass. If you do get the 1le version, get the camera that is in the antenna. The rear view mirror camera is a blessing with that high wing in the way.
I will have a full video on the things I like and don't like about mine when I get to 1000 miles and can get time to film it. These are the ones I can think of off the top of my head right now. Hope this helps.

Right?!?! I saw the article come out on the 2021 models after I ordered mine. I went straight to the dealer I ordered from and was like "please tell me mine has it since I ordered late 2020". Thankfully it did and I was so happy. Can't wait to show you the special thing we are doing with it when it gets wrapped 🤘🏻

@@thesinistercamaro ah is the 659hp i think this lovely car is more than ambient light in the night (drive) not just walk around🌝 im from Germany we dont have today many cars with big engine because co2 emission regulation but many electro and ambient lights in cars it is boring every small car like Audi A1 or A Class have more lights and it is boring🧏♂️ i wonder why you dont have Matrix Headlights
Yes, you are correct, but this one video is just a walkaround at night because some of my viewers asked for it. This was back when I first got it, so I was trying to post as much as I can with it until we started modifying things. Up to this point (not in this video, we have completed the look of the car and now we are going for 1000hp+ to the wheels. Plan on tracking this car as well soon. Haven't had much time to edit/upload like I use to with 2 little ones in the house, but will post those when I get a chance. I'm taking the red pill 😂
