This design by Takayuki Takeya is one of my favorites of the Xenomorphs, it is as if he mixed the classic design of Big Chap with that of the Aliens from the 2 AvP and Resurrection movies (Although the design as a whole is almost the same and original by HR Giger), and the part I love most about this design is the head that feels unique. Furthermore, when one of those involved in writing the script for an AvP film in the 90s (which is The Hunt: Aliens vs Predator) that could never be carried out was asked, what he wanted the Xenomorphs to look like in the film, said that the design of Takeya's Alien Pile statue was a somewhat close vision of what he would have liked them to look like in the movie (As I read on a Fanpage on the Internet dedicated to Alien, Predator and AvP).

Can't wait to hear what you have to say about it! Right now, my only complaint is navigating the seatbelts... it would be a bit easier to seat a figure if the bottom half wasn't one piece. Other than that, I'm in love with the thing. I even have an extra set of blast effects getting delivered soon, so I can really display this thing in explosive glory.

Your analysis is spot-on! This channel truly deserves far more recognition. BTW, I believe Medicom’s 12-inch RAH figure was later adapted for their 6-inch Mafex line. The Mafex version is a beautiful figure, but the issue lies in its terrible quality control, it practically falls apart in your hands.

Cool video. I think HT will eventually give Big Chap the 2.0 treatment and if he turns out like the Alien Warrior from Aliens or the Xenomorph from Alien Romulas, i think it will be amazing.

What I'm confused about is I just started watching the movie but when the kids leave the planet they don't come across the nostromo looking for the pods but they come across the research facility that took the alien from the nostromo's wreckage?

The old variants have a certain charm to them, they seem less fragile than allot of the “elite” action figures nowadays. That’s a bummer about the comic, Ive read quite a few of the more recent ones online. They feel kinda tossed together and un original. That’s really cool about your new book! Sounds really bad ass, i might just have to buy it.

Have you realized all the girls of Romulus movie are wearing the hairstyles of Ripley from the previous ones. I thought that was so cool.

The first figures have bootleg vibes...despite of time released. Neca has been the better one.

In regard to the Alien: Romulus comic: "Look how they massacred our boy..." Big Chap deserved better, to die in a Warhammer 40k fight.

The 1/4 Big Chaps are just so good. Even if Hot Toys made a perfect Big Chap, the NECA 1/4 would still dominate in shelf presence at a third of the price.

aline queen lol avpr warriors didnt all share the same linage. the 1st few warriors were from egg samples aboard the ship. the following were from belly busters the hybrid implanted within pregnant women, those being the only that shared liniage.

Well I always loved your cahnnel and iI promote it on discord all the time, everybody with half a brain should recogncize how good your channel is really, and while I'm kinda broke atm I will alwa<ys support and share it bc I love it. It's some kind of rare YT content, I think most people just can see how much effort you put into every video (or at least they should) that your channel got more traction bc of the reviews you did is not a big surprise really, movie reviews where always pretty big on YT When I have some dispoasable income again I wil totally buy your merch, but as long as I can't really I'll keep supporting the channel in my way, simply by sharing it with like minded ppl 💚💚💚

If it wasn't for the size of that thing, I would've gotten it. I live in an apartment dammit, where am I supposed to display these things? I have the Baroness with the Cobra Coil & backed the Rattler (Missed getting one as kid, didn't want to make same mistake). As far as the tank itself, I've 2 nitpicks, apart from the size. First, the gatling gun placements. I would've put them more aft, so that any troopers in the back could provide covering fire against any foes trying to get at the tank from the sides, or alternatively provide support fire vs any low-flying enemies. The other nit-pick being that I would've left the area for the tank number in the front, blank. You have the stickers for the sole reason of putting in your own numbers. Allow us, as the customers to do just that; especially with the price this thing was when it first hit.

Look also for smaller pool audience but one that is very active. Fecebook groups is where I interact the most with other collectors and how I usually find more interactive content like this one.

I'd love to see Hiya Toys' Aliens Colonial Marines Xenos, particularly the Raven and the Crusher. Of all my favorite is definitely Big Chap and the Predalien!

It was made years ago. I think HT will be doing a Big Chap 2.0 in the near future. The HT Xenomorph figure from Alien Romulus looks incredible, it looks like Hot Toys might have broken new ground with it. That could bode well for a new improved Big Chap figure in the future.
