    Fun video!
    1) The omission of a stand felt odd and possibly due to how the line is expanding. I think this is the first Classified flying vehicle released, so logistically, the design and production team have not been dealing with these types of vehicles in the line for long and have not had a lot of collectors clamoring for stands yet
    2) I am pleasantly surprised, as I believe are the team behind Classified, at how strong the market appetite is for essentially nostalgic re-releases of the original toy line with the main changes being scaling up to six-inch and only the slightest of updates to make these modern. The initial wave of Scarlett, Duke, and Roadblock (Snake Eyes remained faithful) seem like they are from a completely different line (Fortnite?) at this point. Also, how bonkers is it that the Classified team made the pivot almost instantly AND during a pandemic so by the time the Viper Island and Flint/Lady Jaye figures came out, the pivot to full nostalgia was complete. By the time the Crimson Twins came out and had essentially no modernization to their design, I was not sure if I wanted to collect basically unchanged versions of RAH toys. And yet, here I am years deep into the line buying multiple Trubble Bubbles
    3) Your observation that G.I. Joe is more than just a military toy line is spot on for me. The fact that there are sci-fiction, fantasy, and just plain bonkers elements to G.I. Joe is what keeps G.I. Joe in my mind and also in my heart. This is very similar to the admiration I have for the Masters of the Universe universe as you have a naked barbarian with a sword who is friends with such bizarre characters as a guy whose gimmick is a very large fist, a guy whose main ability is extending his neck, and, oh, they fight a narcissist who is a skellington but only in the face

You know I completely agree with everything here, but they did actually provide a stand with the Sky Stryker and the upcoming Dragonfly. So somebody there is thinking about it, we just need to get their attention. I think that Hasbro is still trying to wrap their head around the fact that they are mostly catering to an adult market. This is a no-brainer for companies like Neca, McFarlane, Three zero, and of course Hot toys. But classically Hasbro has been a children's toy company, the G.I. Joe's aren't found in the adult collector part of target, but they probably should be. Same with many of the transformers, Star Wars and even their new Power Rangers figures. This is why I think they always look like a deer in headlights, at events like pulse con "Tell them to watch their swearing!" someone yells from offstage. But, they do seem to be getting there. Personally, for me it's all about display, So I'm always going to be wanting more accessories, stands, backdrops, and so on. It's nice they listen.

@@strangeform Good point about the Skystriker and Dragonfly. Although I wonder if maybe the 3.75 team is separate from Classified? Also, I tend to think of the Dragonfly as post-Trubble Bubble. But your point remains that for a child holding the Trubble Bubble and whooshing it around the house, they (children) don't need stands. Adults impressing party guests or doing it for the 'gram need stands for their adult toys. G.I. Joe adult toys, not the other adult toys, although maybe, who knows?
I do agree that the Classified team seems to be monitoring collectors pretty closely. Also, I suspect, they are keeping an eye on the competition based on their recent Pulse Con reveals

Oh yeah, the announcement of those 60th anniversary "Actions soldier figures" are definitely Hasbro saying "I see you" to Valaverse. That was a shot across the bow. By the way did you see the giant tin of weapons and accessories Valaverse put up for preorder? Almost 100 1/12th weapons. I went ahead and snagged one for review. I'm sorta looking forward to sifting through the whole thing.

@@strangeform That Valaverse tin o' weapons is an awesome value. Unfortunately, as good as Classified is becoming with their figures, the Classified weapons are mid-tier because they are often too gummy and usually have no paint apps. I mainly use Classified weapons holstered or slung and see if there is something neat from Action Force to use in the hands of the figures

The figures are Indeed awesome, but you're right, it's about 50-50 on the weapons. One thing I just can't stand, and this goes back to when I was a kid, is when there is no rigidity to items that are supposed to be straight or have symmetry. I cannot stand it when a weapon has a sort of banana bend to it, it brings out some latent ADHD thing that just won't let me rest until I rectified it in some way (Often heating it up and putting it under cold water, but sometimes Item ends up in a book with weights on top of it). This goes for knives, swords, light sabers, but especially rifles. Part of the reason I wasn't that upset about the Valkyrie's weapons being monotone was that at least they were holding their shape properly. I wonder what the price difference is when it comes to casting these things in hard plastic versus soft, I know that the hard plastic versions have to be more brittle so I'm guessing there's a shipping damage issue there. But it doesn't seem like something that couldn't be overcome.

Yes I find proper bases and stands pretty important, such a small accesory which wouldn't cost the companies much to include but make a huge difference on the given display options you can achieve with it.

It's actually becoming a pet peeve with me, Mezco does an awesome job providing stands, that have both an arm and a foot peg. Mezco also include an accessory baggie so that you don't lose everything. Whether they like it or not Hasbro is currently catering to an adult market, and needs to take some of these things into account. Now they are a lot cheaper than the competition, but many of those prices are creeping up with more and more $30-$40 figure sets. Something else I wish Hasbro would stop doing is making the weapons out of soft plastic, this is just causing a lot of us to give money to third-party accessory companies like Valaverse and Little Armory. But they are getting there.

@@strangeform Oh yeah I realized you use the Mezco stands very often in your reviews, they are great in quality.
And yes you are right abou the missing effects too, that set just screams for them... so again to little armory😁
