      If you’re able to get a verification of your license before it expires you’ll be good. You need to move fast! Start by creating an account.

    Hi, i would like to ask I'm currently in canada on study permit and doing chronic disease management program from seneca college, I've done by bachelor's in 2022, so does i need to meet the 250 hrs and language proficiency requirements too.

      You do not need 250hrs. Your Nursing program meets the currency of practice because it’s within the 5yr time frame. Your current program may qualify you for language proficiency if it’s at least 2yrs of full time study but that is at CRNA discretion. Kindly write to CRNA navigator and enquire about it.

      @@IENFactsCanadahello how about finishing the practical nursing program at norquest college. that is two years diploma, do i still need 250 hours?

      I know CRNA doesn’t accept hours from licensed practical nurses practice, but maybe the education part of it may count .I recommend you talk to the navigator and see if there’s a possibility.

      @@IENFactsCanada I actually called twice yesterday and today. Yesterday, The navigator told me I can renew but today the representative told me I can’t. It should be RN education. I’m so confused now. Practical nursing is also a nursing course. Am I right? 🙁

      @@steffsarehpo5613 “Some non-nursing university or college courses or programs in Canada (approval is required from the registration committee)” That statement is from their website on what education or courses may qualify. That’s why I thought LPN program may be acceptable. I know LPN is nursing too only that it’s a different scope from RN. You can argue with them from that statement.

    Hi, I was able to get a license to practice as a CRNA because of my NCLEX exam last year. I worked as an RN from 2010 until June 2023 before moving to Alberta to work as a Home Child Care Provider. My question is, what will be the implications if I renew my license in August 2024? What requirements do I need to meet for the renewal? Please note that my last 7 years as an RN were in Abu Dhabi, and our mode of communication was English. Thank you for your response.

      Hi. From my understanding of this context, you have not practiced in Canada as an RN right? If this is correct, when exactly did you obtain the CRNA license? Please clarify

    Hey,I’m a newly graduated nurse from Ethiopia,and I’m planning to apply for NNAS,(registered nurse with New Brunswick),therefore if I sign and pay to NNAS,can they cover my IELTS exam and NCLEX as well?and can they sponsor me in finding me a job in Canada and migrate to Canada??🙏

      @IENFactsCanada 2 месяца назад

      Hi. There’s a government funding program which I believe it covers NNAS and some other registration costs . You need to register with IEN Navigation Services first to be enrolled in this program before you register with NANB. The Nursing regulatory body is not involved in immigration process or employment. However, if you obtain your license and get an employment, your employer will help with the immigration process.
