Hi, I have passed my NCLEX RN and I am currently in nova Scotia. But I passed under CNO regulatory body. Can I get my registration done in nova Scotia. I didn't make any registration account with CNO as I am trying to get the right information. Do I need to inform CNO about that I am planning to get registered with nova Scotia. Hi. There are a few things I need to understand. CNO gave you the ATT right? That means you have a registration account with CNO? Are you registered in Australia or why is the Ahpra coming in?

@@micachu89 Yes, hours worked in NS or any other Canadian jurisdiction. If not renewed, NSCN may request you complete some courses. Here is the catch… you may go ahead and do the NCLEX but do not activate your licence. That means your application will remain as an initial registration and not renewal. Then,when you are ready to move you just activate it. They will request your currency of practice at this point. You will still be eligible if you stay 2-3yrs according to this; “*Effective January 2, 2024, RN applicants who have passed the NCLEX exam more than 3 years ago and have not worked as an RN in the last 10 licensing years will be required to complete a competence assessment and bridging education or a nursing re-entry program, unless they meet one of the other currency of practice options”
