      Please I have a question based on what you said that having the conditioner license is enough for one to start immigration process. So one does not have to write IELTS, or do ECA?

      @@beginsklifand5770 You’re right! But you need a job offer to start the immigration process.

    Hi, I have passed my NCLEX RN and I am currently in nova Scotia. But I passed under CNO regulatory body. Can I get my registration done in nova Scotia. I didn't make any registration account with CNO as I am trying to get the right information. Do I need to inform CNO about that I am planning to get registered with nova Scotia. Or one more thing do I need to inform APhra about the change in the regulatory body. Please help me with this. Looking forward to hearing from you.

      Hi. There are a few things I need to understand. CNO gave you the ATT right? That means you have a registration account with CNO? Are you registered in Australia or why is the Ahpra coming in?

      Not necessarily, but you will require to meet your currency of practice. There are a few options. Check this out:

    Hi after getting my license, is it compulsory I work in NS? I currently live in ONTARIO, can I just apply to CNO after passing my NCLEX , even though I used the Nova Scotia route?

    • @IENFactsCanada
      @IENFactsCanada  5 месяцев назад

      It’s not compulsory. You can transfer the license to CNO. However, CNO may require some RN work hours. Kindly, check with CNO first before you request transfer.

    After I passed the NCLEX exam, do I have to immediately apply for a job in Nova Scotia or can I still stay in my home country for like 2-3 years to work?

    • @IENFactsCanada
      @IENFactsCanada  6 месяцев назад

      After NCLEX you will receive a practicing license. This license needs renewal every year and you will need to show how many hours you’ve worked. My advice would be for you to get a job in NS and move. Meanwhile, you can continue working in your home country as you seek for employment in NS and as you prepare for immigration.

    • @micachu89
      @micachu89 6 месяцев назад +1

      @@IENFactsCanada To clarify, the hours I’ve worked should be as nurse in NS? What would happen if I don’t renew my license? Cuz my plan is to pass the NCLEX, work in my home country for 2-3 yrs, then apply for job in NS. I really appreciate your help 🙏🏾

    • @IENFactsCanada
      @IENFactsCanada  6 месяцев назад

      @@micachu89 Yes, hours worked in NS or any other Canadian jurisdiction. If not renewed, NSCN may request you complete some courses. Here is the catch… you may go ahead and do the NCLEX but do not activate your licence. That means your application will remain as an initial registration and not renewal. Then,when you are ready to move you just activate it. They will request your currency of practice at this point.
      You will still be eligible if you stay 2-3yrs according to this;
      “*Effective January 2, 2024, RN applicants who have passed the NCLEX exam more than 3 years ago and have not worked as an RN in the last 10 licensing years will be required to complete a competence assessment and bridging education or a nursing re-entry program, unless they meet one of the other currency of practice options”

      If you have basic general Nursing and midwifery as a specialty you can apply. If it’s just midwifery, no.
