I have an bachelors of science in electrical engineering (BSEE) from Henry Cogswell College and later earned a MBA from the University of Portland.
Early in my career I designed communication systems for Sprint, Nortel Networks, and the US defense department. After my MBA I worked at Intel in systems manufacturing finance and then as a Government Banker at U.S. Bank.
I was then appointed as a public finance officer for the State of Oregon’s Economic Development Department. There I underwrite loans and grants, coordinate the issuance of Oregon Bond Bank revenue bonds, and help manage a $650 million credit portfolio.
Over this period of time I started several companies, was awarded a U.S. patent, and been the treasure of several 591(c)(3) nonprofit entities.

Just start delivering cars!!!
Statistically speaking families with two cars where one is considered a commuter car always buy one capable of doing full duty. two seat vehicles sell in very low volumes outside of pickup trucks. even four seat two cars outsell their two seat counterparts for that very same reason. if Aptera came in under the price of traditional evs by a significant amount, as in the LE should be 25k, they might garner some extra sales but at similar price points its a very niche and a rich persons toy.
Repeat after me… It’s a Vanderhall Santarosa. You speak about Aptera as if it actually exists and does what they claim. News flash: Their “PI’s will be completed in the first few months of next year” and you now see them scrambling to scrape together something, anything, to somehow replace the last 2 years of product development not done, is the reality here. They threw their opportunity away. Admirable crowdfunders who haven’t got a clue how to be viable manufacturers. Vanderhall, and yes I own one, followed the correct process of building test mules (11 different ones) and built something worth owning. Aptera has never even started down the path, you just don’t know it yet. Go back and watch their Nov./Dec. videos regarding “The Most Efficient Vehicle Validation Possible” and the timeline. Yeah, that’s them. Zero credibility by their own hand.
Thank you for the model did you get my address do not know if I sent it right love your perspective
No, I did not receive your address! Please, please email your address to me at MyApteraJourney@gmail.com Thanks! = Rich =
The show is finally getting away from centering solely on financial prospects and IPO strategy and slowly getting into broader Aptera issues like the ones you dealt with here. One of your best till date IMO. Charge on!
Thank you for viewing My Aptera Journey. You will find the show will change once again after I receive my car. I will feature driving experiences all the time and comments about the vehicle. I will still include financial information because it’s vital to have the company prosperous. It’s hard to satisfy everyone’s interest, but I’m glad you enjoyed this exposé of competing vehicles and prices. Charge on!
When they do an IPO, I hope it is a one share for one stock of SUNA.
I anticipate one share of pre-IPO Aptera will equal one share of SUNA. That would only change if they were a stock split or a reverse split. Charge on!
Vanderhall is an autocycle, which is not a motorcycle; you only have to wear a helmet in certain states. Also, there is an optional roof. So the choice is not clear yet. Apterra will probably be better than Vanderhall if someone would please answer how much power it has. I'm glad to see a 4 second 0-60, but early videos showed it struggle then overheat trying to go up a hill with 2 people in it. How much does the performance suffer when there's weight in the car?
Thanks for viewing My Aptera Journey. The Vanderhall would be awesome if you could store the roof in/on the car someplace. I know, though, rear wheel drive three wheelers may have stability issues. The Aptera video you watched where the car had difficulty climbing a hill was due to a cooling system that had not been properly connected - it was easily fixed. The Elaphe in-wheel motors, in the AWD configuration, have 150 kW / 200 hp of power. Enough to make this lightweight carbon fiber car tremendously fast. Charge on!
A Vanderhall is front wheel drive.
Let me know when they actually build something and deliver it to customers.
I will try to remember this, but I get so many comments. I cannot promise this Keep watching for updates.
First - Missing from ALL discussions on Aptera’s relative advantages is context… user requirements (driving habits/needs) and charging availability (infrastructure and solar access. Thinking urban parking garage vs. rural homestead for charging; and thinking stop-n-go commute where aero efficiency is near meaningless. It’s a tough calculation b/c most of us have diverse needs. This is why discussion of fleet sales is encouraging (Chris A. mentioned in webinar); and think car sharing holds promise. Second - Your thoughts on potential dilution of shares with upcoming US-Capital deal… and eventual IPO. Understand Aptera retains right to create shares, and with unchanged company valuation but double the shares (for example) this would half the current share value. Any thoughts if/how current shareholders may fare with forthcoming US-C deal and SUNA IPO?
Thanks for viewing My Aptera Journey video, and your insightful comments. Some great comments from you about use cases, thank you. I can definitely see intercity delivery services like medical couriers being a popular demand driver for this vehicle. It will certainly excel at freeway speeds. That suggests fleet sales could be profitable. Regarding US Capitol and IPO stock prices and valuations, I’ll respond to that question in my next video… by popular demand! Charge on!
@@Rich1Rodriguez Look forward to it (next video) hopefully b4 June 30. 😉 Brief footnote to my prior long post… while little aero advantage in traffic, low weight build eg, carbon body - remains advantageous.
Rich, I always look forward to your review and insight. As far as Aptera's funding, I fail to see how working with US Capital Global is much different than what they currently have. US Capital Global still needs to raise the $65M. That money is not "in the bank" or usable until US Capital Global cuts Aptera a check. Of course they are not going to cut a single check, that would be foolish of US Capital Global, but have milestones that Aptera needs to meet before money is provided. The analogy of a construction loan seems to work well here though the bank doesn't have to raise the money for my construction loan. The bank will not cut a single check but has milestones that must be completed generally with inspections to make sure I am using the money as intended. I really was hoping that Aptera was going to share some sort of timeline / milestone path for funding and progress toward production. Instead, they dropped a huge elephant in the room with the lack of mention of Elaphe as their hub motor supplier or how they are addressing the hub motors. The hub motors are a critical component to the vehicle. Elaphe was doing extensive testing of their motors. While the Aptera motor is a joint development with Aptera and Elaphe, will it still have the testing and reliability that was promised by Elaphe? A delay with the hub motors could really result in production delays. Is this why Aptera is not going to start production at 40 per day as they said. (Yes, I know that Chris said that it might take a month or two to get to the full 40 per day but they wanted to start at that point. If they don't have motors or they don't have battery packs, vehicles will not be delivered. Their cell welding video was horribly slow unless they have lots of parallel robots running. At 2916 cells, they need to weld each cell at a rate of 0.2s. They are not close to that volume.)
Thank you for viewing My Aptera Journey video and your comments. I can only speak with some confidence on the financial points. Closing a deal with an investment bank will take a few months I believe. When I close a public bond issuance it’s normally 3 to 4 months before the wire hits the bank. It is unclear if US capital will be placing some of their own money or raising funds externally, my guess there will be a combination of both at a ratio of like 8% US Capital house cash and 92% externally raised by US Capitol. US Capital can use private equity markets to raise these funds and it appears they have a solid track record in being successful and doing this. It’s actually way different because US Capitol has a deep network. It should be able to raise these funds relatively quickly relative to what Aptera could do on their own. The current crowdfunding round is likely to bridge that gap of three months or so before funds from the U.S. Capital efforts hit the bank for Aptera. I have heard the scuttlebutt about Elaphe. That is about all I can say. I believe there are other international suppliers as well so from the broad perspective, I’m not terribly concerned about this. Elaphe may have taken a financial hit with the collapse of Lordstown. Charge on!
Thanks Rich for this informative video. I think that it is good to compare the Aptera to other 3 wheeled vehicles ONLY to the point where you can see that there is an eager niche market for affordable, and fun 3 wheeled vehicles. But I don't see them as Aptera's competition. As you showed, there is not one of them that offers the higher levels of EV range, performance, efficiency, or practicality that the Aptera does. Like Morgan, Polaris did once say that they were going to build an EV version of the Slingshot, but that concept faded away. I see Aptera's real competition as being a combination of low cost EVs and the growing (largely abandoned) base market of gas powered economy cars. Plus really anyone looking for an affordable, economical, fun vehicle, that is not a boring box. For EVs, Chevy has stopped building their very competitive Bolt EV, but the $35K base model EV Equinox (which was supposed to be its replacement) was delayed a year. Tesla came out with a refreshed Model 3, but using Chinese LFP batteries excludes it from getting the $7500 subsidies. The base Model Y is a cheaper EV for those who qualify for the subsidies. ....Small corrections. The Vandehall EV is called the Santa Rosa (which is a beautiful city up here in Northern California). You already saw the 48K reservation holder comments, Geely is the automaker who owns Volvo (who is building the EX30) and their non-China EV tariff loophole might go away before the entry level EX30 sells in the U.S.
Thank you for viewing, and your thoughtful observations. Aptera is clearly in a class by itself given its extraordinary efficiency, and all the benefits that stem from that. Charge on!
Thank you Rich!
You’re welcome
Who's making the Hub motors? Chris A did not talk about Elaphe being a partner in the last Aptera Investors webinar.
To the best of my knowledge, it is still Elaphe. There are several global manufacturers for Aptera could utilize.
Did you take a look at elaphe's website, the information is 2 years old, saying they are producing for lightyear and lordstown, both bankrupt. And elaphe is completely disappeared from aptera website Do some research
That has been clarified in the recent Q/A with investors. They are having some issues with Elahpe and are making alternative arrangements.
What's the difference between an electrical engineer and a trained electrical engineer?
I have been trained as en electrical engineer, and have practiced as an engineer. Mostly microcontrollers and communication systems. However, because I no longer practice I like to say that I’m a trained electrical engineer. Though sometimes I still say I am an engineer Perhaps it’s more accurate to say I’m an electrical engineer that no longer practices. I’m in finance now.
In many parts of the world people fake all types of professions with being. Yes, it's good he clarifies he is a trained electrical engineer and not a quack.
Thanks for the info Rich. What do you estimate Aptera's opening stock price will be when they go IPO?
Thank you for viewing, and thank you for the question. Let me ponder that. It will be in my next video. I have an old capitalization table leading to an IPO that I have to brush off and review. You have to make some estimates on the number of funding rounds before the IPO and the price increase with each round. There will be several more Aptera rounds before the IPO, I believe. And, of course, market timing makes an impact on pricing as well - receptive markets price higher than markets that are not as receptive. It will only be closer to IPO time when we can bake in market conditions. It did give me some confidence recently when I viewed Aptera’s most recent funding plan (in the investor webinar) that pretty much matched what I was thinking in terms of funding needed.
And please when you make the video, explain to us what a split stock is and the possibilities of Aptera doing one at IPO. But please explain it as you would to a six-year old. Many out there assume everybody is an expert in their fields.
Key here is, if you want a three wheeled vehicle. A market segment that has never had large scale success. The cited ICE samples are all marketed to motorcyclist and similar enthusiasts and the cycle based solutions are all about city mobility where the Aptera will fail given its ridiculous size. Any price comparison to existing EVs is a pointless exercise since Aptera refuses to stand being their price on the website. Given they claim to know how many it takes to be profitable that in turn means they know exactly what they need to sell those six thousand for. So which is it? Do they know or are they lying again? So until you get in writing the actual price of an Aptera your comparisons are meaningless. You managed to ignore the Citreon e-C3 and expected Jeep variant the US will get. You also ignored the Equinox. Aptera will not offer the safety of any of the vehicles you compared it to. The market certainly desires lower priced EVs but the market has never shown any interest in three wheeled vehicles nor are two seat vehicles popular across all segments of the auto market. Simply put, Aptera will be a niche vehicle and unless it significantly undercuts in price the current EV market it will not enjoy large sales numbers.
Thank you for viewing and thank you for your great comments. It was not my goal to make a comprehensive inventory of either three wheeled vehicles or low-cost electrics, but just to provide a survey. I am also an insightful skeptic of the breakeven numbers Aptera has offered, as I am aware of how difficult it is to provide those estimates as they are in the future and so much is yet unknown, so I give them space to allow them to refine those numbers as they move forward. I also acknowledge it is unclear on what the sales volumes will be for the Apter. Pre-ordered demand is suggestive it will sell very well. I happily look forward to receiving mine, as many other thousands do. Charge on.
"Aptera will not offer the safety of any of the vehicles you compared it to." We do not know this yet. The crash tests have not been done. You might be right and you might be wrong. Isn't it just better to say we don't know how safe the car will be? We humans hate saying I don't know. We prefer to guess. "The market certainly desires lower priced EVs" I agree "The market has never shown any interest in three wheeled vehicles nor are two seat vehicles popular across all segments of the auto market." I agree "Simply put, Aptera will be a niche vehicle" I agree "unless it significantly undercuts in price the current EV market it will not enjoy large sales numbers." I sort of agree. It depends on what you mean by large sale numbers. 10,000, 100,000, 1,000,000 or 10,000,000? I'm thinking/guessing the Aptera will be around the 50,000 vehicles per year similar to a Corvette for example which was 53,785 units produced. I would consider 50k a nice vehicle and not large scale. A $35,000 price tag may help it but I doubt it.
If it ever will be made you can ad 10k or more to the current price. The current price was made up in 2019 and was unrealistic then.....

The PROBLEM for Aptera is that the vehicle is is a very very very niche product. It is not a mainstream vehicle. They will not sell hundreds of thousands let along a million of them. They still have no production facility , no money for all the buildings , machines, employee wages. And no one is going to give them the money because Aptera is a niche vehicle. not a Real car, one you can load up te famiy and go on vacation. Yes the Suadis may throw ome money at them short term but the Suadis have proven over and over and over again they have more money than brains which is why I am assuming Aptera went to them, because no REAL Investors are going to risk thier money on this project to build a couple thousand Apteras a year. Who in their right mind would pay 35k for a 3 wheel trike when they can get a real car EV for 35k ? so those that think this is real.. where is the Production plant? how many sq ft , are all of the robots , welders, cnc all the machinining in place ? Are all the venders in place ? How many unites can they produce a day ? What are the cost vs the margins, how long before profitability ? Does Aptera have the money to make it to profitability ? This is where they started giving you the gooblede gook and can never give you staright answers and if they do you give you straight answer you start to realize ..ummm 12 months ? 18 months how long before bankruptcy. @rich1rodriguez did you say you were in Atlanta?

Thank you for watching My Aptera Journey. What a cute parallel well the Muppets!. Charge on!
Not a real car and they will be broke before any real production begins, only a handful of people will buy one as a vehicle to get around the rest because they think it's cool. There simply isnt any market for this type of ummm vehicle . Who in their right mind would spend between $25,900 to $46,000+ ~ depending on the range and options for an Aptera when they could get a Chevy Bolt, ID 4, Tyota BZX , Nissan Aryia , Tesla Model 3 or Y , Chevy Equinox , Chevy Blazer on and on ..real cars Vs the Aptera a kit car. Where are they going to come up with the money to build these? Private money lol.. Go Public? I never short companies but theres always a first . I want to wish them well but they are at least a dacade behind reality. If they were producing these 10-15 years ago, yeah that would have been fun and cool and by now they would be producing 1 maybe 2 real cars. Bottom line aptera is nothing more than asegway ..fun, got some news and then reality set in and they went bankrupt
Thank you for viewing My Aptera Journey, and thank you for your comments. As a rule, I try to only answer questions that have a question at the end of them. There are many sources of private and public funding for Aptera Motors. In my most recent video that this comment is under, I mentioned syndicating a regulation D private placement offering there are other options as well, and as you pointed out an IPO will likely be one of them. Charge on!
Your negative-nancy opinion would be better served up in your own youtube video, not a pro-Aptera vid like this one. Most if not 99.9% of those who watch these are very enthusiastic and excited about the design, development and progress toward large scale manufacturing of this amazing vehicle. If we wanted any of those 'old tech/stuck concept' vehicles like you mentioned, I'm sure we would be purchasing or looking into one or more. I prefer to focus on the future even if not 'fully-baked' yet, but that's how it always is, now isn't it?
@@rchender The reason is so people think twice before they start putting money in when it goes public. Aptera needs manufacturing and the 100's of millions that goes into that . What happens is that small investors put all the money in with all the big shots saying what a great product it is , how it's going to revoluntonize the EV market etc.. Then after they have been public for a year they run out of money a doa reverse spilt , and another reverse split and those early investors now holding nothing but a lot of worthless stock as all teh big wigs have linned thier pockets with millions for a few years .. Apteria has NOTHING of Value ..Nothing there is nothing tangible of real value . and the Product is a nothing more than Segway part 2
Go back 10-15 years and just add the word "Tesla" to your comments in place of "Aptera" and the same opinion was being voiced by analysts, die hard petrol fans and the legacy automakers...now they are all catching up and wondering how they got it so wrong. I have owned a lot of those real cars and am very happy not to be driving them anymore. And judging by the enthusiasm for this car both in the US and overseas, I think Aptera will do very well...but we will all just have to see.
In what way is it "not a real car" The very first vehicle that received the name "car" (short for carraige) was a three wheeler. Aptera is not a kit car, and as it has developed, the body has left the original similarity far behind. Once people have a chance to ride in one, the attitude is going to change. Every vehicle you mention in your list is going to cost several times as much to own and drive as an Aptera. For those whose needs it will meet, the choice is a no brainer. The 0-60 4 second acceleration of the LE edition Apterae is better than the original Tesla Roadster, and they don't break the transmission, which they don't even have. Most of us here base our opinions on actual experience with prototypes. I worked across the street from Tesla in 2008, and it was a relative disaster in comparison, especially in terms of financial management.
Love the opening song!
Me too. Orlando’s “Ode to Aptera” is awesome!
Thanks Rich and Bill ( fellow Ambassador ) Hey Bill I was at the same Aptera event … I’m with you about “ that flashy vehicle” ! Matte silver, although my preferred white, may keep at a safe color glow as it is trickle charging in the sun…but still a “ head turner “. A interview about interview
Yes. Thank you for watching My Aptera journey. An interview about an interview and an interview. Interspersed with commentary and insights. Charge on!
Because Aptera os using the Yoke wheel I wish they were using steer by wire. I love almost everything about the Aptera. This os my biggest critique. My 2nd one is the non-existent buttons. I love having tech in the car but a handful of buttons and dials for some features is a more user friendly design. None of these critiques are deal breakers. No car is perfect. They are just a couple of things that I don't love. It won't stop me from buying one.
Thanks for watching My Aptera Journey. I agree with both your points; steer-by-wire and buttons. Steer-by-wire ‘could’ save Aptera money. Maybe? With in-wheel could they not eliminate connecting rods? I also like a mix of tactical buttons and screens. Especially for HVAC, wipers, turn signals, etc. AND a big screen for other things. I’m very happy with that mix in the Polstar 2, Bolt EV, Mustang, etc. Mono screen everything is obvious; cost-cutting. And I don’t like it. Charge on!
I have worked in hitech for 45 years or more. Done some R&D. Background is Physics and Math. Used to be a tech advisor to DARPA.
You’re a technology person, like many of us. Insightful… we are.
I hope a Sentry Mode and OpenPilot can be integrated by the time we pick up our Aptera and drive it cross-country home! It doesn't sound very likely, but those two features would be very helpful for that long trip. Thank you Rich and Bill.
Sentry Mode, if it’s not available out of the box, would likely be over the air update. Open pilot will be hardwired so you can install yourself if it’s not available from the factory on day one.
@@Rich1Rodriguez While it is true that Aptera will be able to update software over the air, I don't believe they are planning for integrated Sentry Mode cameras. Chris Anthony has also recently said that Sentry Mode is way down the priority list too..... bummer. We will know better as we reach production, but I am counting on the OpenPilot wiring and mount being ready so we can bring a unit with us if need be!
@@DemaGeekWhat is "Sentry Mode" I'm not familiar with that term.
@@Fairburne69 Sentry Mode is Tesla's term for an alarm system, but it's the deluxe version on steroids, if you will. When anything approaches the car, cameras record, warnings are given, and notifications are sent to your phone. Aptera will be such an eye catcher, that it would be nice to have a version of this in place from the beginning.
@@DemaGeek Thanks!
I love hearing a bit both your backgrounds Some of both your stories sound very familiar! It is a common trait of Aptera supporters.
Hope you are well, Bruce. I was nearly dumbstruct when I learned of Bill's background. So many parallels... engineers pushing the envelope. All the Best! = Rich =
All Aptera fans have some sort of same background
I am not too worried about Aptera being broken into or stolen for a while, as any act like this will be obvious and stolen Apteras should stand out like a sore thumb.
They will be stolen and stripped of their hub motors. Motors can be repurposed for many things. I just hope they are not that easy to remove. Those motors are the "car".
That’s why I would like Aptera default to a 15 mph valet type speed that you override with a security code.
Thanks for viewing My Aptera Journey. The valet mode is a good idea. With 0-60 mph acceleration time of ~ 4 seconds, it could well be a safety feature! Charge on!
I am about at 1200 in the Accelerator list. I wonder if OpenPilot will be installed as I may not get my launch edition until a few months into production and I have selected it as an option I wanted in my launch edition.
Thanks for viewing My Aptera Journey. I am about 600 on Accelerator list. I'm sure I'll get Open Pilot. So will you. Charge on!
We installed an induction stove about 3 years ago and are very happy. It heats food more rapidly with gas so I am pretty sure it is much more efficient than gas.
When I met my future wife-to-be about four years ago, she said she loves her gas (methane) stove. (I moved into her methane based home... after I converted my home to 100% electric and solar). I thought it would be a hopeless case of trying to pry the methane stove out of her hands. So, I picked up a tabletop single cooker induction unit on Craigslist Why not? It was inexpensive, and I considered it an 'experiment.' Result? She loves it. Easy to modulate, less heat for the cook, and quick. I was shocked, really. The experiment worked. I told her again, today, I would buy her a nice induction stove... once we get the methane heat out. Change starts at home.... Charge on!
@@Rich1Rodriguez You are a hero
I am glad they are incorporating a Sentry Mode. It would be nice if they also provided an external solar panel array to NACS plug converter, it would make it easy. If none exists, I may look into making this myself.
I understand there will be a way to add external DC power via a solar panel. I think the solar inverted has about 1,500 W of capacity, while the build in cells are about 700 W. So, yes. How will that work? TBD. Charge on!
Good for telling us a bit about yourselves. You didn't answer your question about whether Aptera will have a sentry mode.
Thanks for watching! My lovely wife suggested the genesis of this video, give folks an insight into who you are, in addition to the interview of both Chris(s). Aptera Motors says; YES WE ARE GETTING SENTRY MODE.
@@Rich1Rodriguez A sentry mode must be an improvement. It wasn't in the original plan to the best of my knowledge.
I was under the impression that a Sentry Mode draws too much power to make it practical for use with the 45 Kwh battery.
Aptera When is will it go to the public. So people can buy.
Hi Charlie - thanks for viewing My Aptera Journey video. Obviously we don’t have a precise IPO date yet. I would ‘guess’ maybe 3Q25 or so. Stay tuned, and Charge on!
@@Rich1Rodriguez 2025?? I would like to buy some stock
Hi Rich love this car I ordered a 250 ml love the solar but I also love the hatch window. I’m hoping I will not have to wait for ever to get the window hatch. What do you think?
Hi Robert - I also love this car, as you can imagine. If you ordered a 250 mile version, I don't think you will have to wait too long after the Launch Edition deliveries. WhY? The 250 mile version simply uses a smaller battery pack (easy!). The rear hatch will be new for Aptera because the Launch Edition comes, I believe, with the full solar. But the glass part should be easy... and the model you are referring to is towards the lower price point... something many people would desire. So I don't think you'll have to wait too long. Just depends where are in line with 42,000 others! Charge on!
Hello Robert - I sort of random picked you as the winner of a small gift. If you can, please, email me an address I can send you a cute green three wheeled vehicle. Congratulations! = Rich =
What a load of crap. what a load of soft soap salesmanship. The Aptera is a great concept, but it is not designed to be actually used. The solar panels are totally and completely useless. This is a physical fact. A full day in the sun might add .5 miles to the battery. That said, tough they claim the solar panels will last ten years, they will actually wear quickly from road debris on normal driving. The vehicle is all but invisible on the road, specifically from the rear. The slightest rear end collision will cause extensive damage, to not even think of rear collision at speeds over 30 mph. Lighting is catastrophically weak, again especially in the rear. This vehicle should be marketed as an daytime NEV only. Only a fool would drive it on roads where speeds exceed 35 mph, and it should never be driven at night. Aptera has not shown a night film where the vehicle is followed/passed, handling even moderate rain, or effectively climbing a hill. Let's see the vehicle back into an obstacle even at 5 mph straight on and oblique. Show a rear end collision at 15 mph. Lets see it even climb a hill. Drive through the Mojave to Vegas a few times (if it even can) and show the exterior results. We've waited decades for Aptera. It's a deathtrap at night and on high speed roads. The NEVs worth paying attention to are coming out of Oregon. It is crucial to have in mind that some fishing equipment is designed to catch fishermen, not fish.
Thanks for watching My Aptera Journey video. Aptera Motors looks forward to sharing videos and driving experience with you as we move towards production. I have driven an Arcimoto. Interesting vehicle. I found the steering to be heavy. Once they roll out torque vector steering, I suspect a tremendous improvement. Charge on!
@@Rich1Rodriguez How much are they paying you to talk on this deathtrap? What are you getting from this? If Aptera goes public, you can bet with full confidence they will take the money and shut it down. Again, the Aptera is a concept, not designed to be actually used.
They haven't provided any evidence of the range performance.
Thanks for watching My Aptera Journey video. Evidence comes in many forms. In finance, and audit is generally accepted evidence of financial position. Then, digging deeper, bank statements can be provide evidence of cash (it should tie to the financial statement balance sheet report of cash). In automotive, engineers first estimate range. Then, later, drive testing is done with the company’s estimate of range. Then, finally, the EPA runs their testing and provides the ‘official’ range. Aptera is at the first stage, engineering estimates of range. We should have actual drive testing by Aptera 4Q2024 or 1Q2025. Charge on!
I believe Aptera will start selling like hotcakes once the actual vehicle hits the street and people see it, realize it is real and discover that much of the driving is very close to free. Among people I have mentioned this too, about 2 people definitely plan to buy it, a good chunk of the rest will consider it again when it reaches production.
Agreed. Will sell like hotcakes. First, though, we need to complete the ‘next’ round of funding. Charge on!
Nice, thoughtful video, Rich. I am not concerned about the single wiper.
Thanks for watching My Aptera Journey. I actually work kinda hard and putting these together. Call it a labor of love. What brought my attention to the windshield wiper was when Cybertruck was released. I saw many pictures and videos of unsatisfactory windshield wiper coverage on the passenger side. Many people have complained I’m concerned about that on the Aptera as well. But we don’t know what the coverage will be like quite yet on Aptera, it has not been detailed. I want my passenger to have truly joyful experience. Charge on!
Thank you. I'm an accelerator and was approved as an Ambassador a week ago.
Welcome to the tribe, and Charge on!
As an Accelerator, can you describe which tax filing documents Aptera sent you? Not the $dollar amounts, the form names or numbers.
David, congratulations. Let me know if I can be of any assistance in our mission!
Please explain how you are an Aptera insider.
I consider myself an insider because as an Aptera Ambassador, we often get information before it is publicly released. As a financial analyst, I read the company’s audited financial statements and make assessments based on that public information.
