    You need to educate yourself more on AMLO if you're gonna even question whether there was corruption on his side. During his presidency which is over in a couple months or so, he built the Felipe Angeles airport, the Tulum airport, the Mayan train, Dos Bocas oil refinery, new roads throughout the country, telecom to the indigenous people without resources, and countless other projects WITHOUT increasing taxes and without incurring more debt, many of these projects were done during COVID too, and completed in record time. Every other administration before him had long forgotten and abandoned the southern part of Mexico, never building infrastructure or developing the indigenous communities.

  • @usiellozano519
    @usiellozano519 20 дней назад

    Best of all AMLO gave them where it hurts, to the corruption side. and gave them not just a lesson by building the airport in less time, of course out of the scratch, and some inconvenient, but he showed them without corruption things can be done. and nice things added to it, as the highway exclusively for the travelers to get there fast, before the priority was the airport.

    I understand your point, but let’s do a test by using Google. And type the airport to the city time. Heathrow to London 44 minutes, Bangkok airport to the city 30 minutes, Cairo airport to the city 45 minutes, Los Angeles Airport to the city 70 minutes, Seoul airport to city center 45 minutes. You can go on an on and do the test yourself and the time is an average in many countries

  • @carlosc6440

    The new airport is too far away for the simple reason transport there from most main points in the city is really bad. The proof is in the fact many airlines are avoiding it, and the public too. Beyond politics, it's really retarded to build an airport and then decide to build the transport infrastructure to reach it. This 750 peso taxi ride depends on the day and daytime and it can go a lot higher going beyond what local users can afford. I love how naive American tourists can be.

    AMLO's reasoning to cancel the NAIM, was to "stop" corruption. He stated his plan was better: to improve the Benito Juarez, and to build a new airport that would supplement the existing ones. However, 2 years after the opening of AIFA, the Benito Juarez is falling apart, no one is in jail for the "corruption" in the NAIM, and hardly anyone wants to fly from the AIFA. I like the AIFA, but what was wrong in having a world class airport in CDMX?
