With proper chemical and dwell time, crb scrubber and a grout brush i could do the whole floor without having to get on my hands and knees and hand wipe every single tile....

There’s tools and flooring equipment you can use to strip the old sealer and literally one machine that sucks up all the residue it’s like a wet vac with a large squeegee it’s just alot of manual labor that can be saved and the job could be done more efficiently

I do Saltillo and Saltillo restoration and Saltillo is never “old or damaged” it’s just lived in and can have wear and tear but it’s pretty easy you’re fresh

That could have been sanded and refreshed and looked like a brand new new floor

Ah ha moment - the sides of the tiles need to be sealed too so you don’t get those watermarks… 👍👍

Trying to find out what you use to strip and seal I live in Italy in 100 year old house 40 years of dirt.. I've scrubbed with Coke I scrubbed with dish soap I scrub with baking soda I don't know how to get the paint off to strip it down any other room

I just remodeled my kitchen and installed saltile tiles on the floor (the lighter colored ones). They sealed them with a matte finish (per my request) but now I want a bit of shine to them. Not a crazy shine but just not so so matte. Can I put a shiny sealer over the matte sealer?

How to remove if i missed to remove excess right away and buff excess amount.

Sucks.... tell me what to use

I am getting 210 square feet of raw satillo tile. After receiving it, I am hand washing each tile using a tile sponge and water to remove all dust and loose clay from each tile and let them dry at least24 hours. I will then use Ole' satillo tile sealer (buy online at home depot) and I will spray or mop top, bottom and, sides and let dry 24 hours and then repeat. These two sealer coats will prevent floor lament and grout to seap into the tile . I then lay the tile. I then grout the tile. I then put 2 more coats of sealer. Then I use Ole' Floor Polish over the sealer to get a fresh polished look with NO buffing required. Ole' Floor Polish is also an on-line only product from Home Depot.

He's too condescending and arrogant to listen to. People make remodeling mistakes but you don't have to talk down about people or where they work and where they come from. Or talk down to your clients and how uninformed they are.

How do you all sit like that with no knee pads???? To me that shows an amateur. A real pro will have the right equipment
