Thank you! you can choose to stain the grout but in this video the dark grout from before is just years of dirt that was embedded in the sealer, when we removed the old sealer it also removed that engrained dirt to reveal the original grout color
These tiles need to be maintained to keep the layers of sealer up about every 3-5 years depending on the foot traffic. Even if you wear away the sealer the tiles can always be brought right back to like new because the tiles are protected with proper amount of coats

So if you're whitewashing them, it won't last and will need to be redone?
