    He's too condescending and arrogant to listen to. People make remodeling mistakes but you don't have to talk down about people or where they work and where they come from. Or talk down to your clients and how uninformed they are.

      Get the orange based stripper and try it out. It's much safer. If you have to use MEK, I'd hire someone because that is some very toxic shite.

    How hard is it to remove the floors? Seems like a lot of work. The house I am looking at first floor is completely like this. All those spots . Any other options for making it pretty?? I’m in Texas

    After the tile is completely clean, is there any way to fill in these small pores and indentations before sealing it?

    So you don’t use clean water to wash the stripper off?
    Also what stripper do you recommend?
    Thanks in advance. 🙏

      If you maintain it well then it can last indefinitely, but with low maintenance it may be 3 to 5 years roughly. It’s really about keeping them maintained after the initial restoration

    I have a small galley kitchen with approximately 50 square feet of usable floor. Tiles are 6" square and the grout is 1/2" wide. I know I have to replace the grout so would you clean,strip and THEN reomove grout or si there a better order of operations that I should follow? I have a reciprocationg tool to help remove old sanded grout for the most part. Thanks

    What stripper brand do you use. What is it called? I stripped each tile in my house in 97. Then I personally put on three coats of sealant. Now it needs to be done again.

      Yes this is the best way to get the highest quality and FULLY remove all that old sealer. Most don’t fully remove the old sealer nor do they clean the tile after stripping them

    • @californiatilerestoration4827
      @californiatilerestoration4827  4 года назад

      Depends on the how much sealer has been put on the floor over time. Some cases their is little sealer that has been applied and other worst case scenarios there is new coats of sealer applied monthly over time which means extra chemical to remove the sealer and thus higher price. Best case scenarios $6.50 to $8.00 per square foot. Worst case scenarios upwards to $10.00 per square foot. We fully remove all sealer that has ever been applied to the floor without messy machines and on hands and knees for the highest quality. You can’t clean dirt if you can’t see dirt
