Thanks for this. We just moved into a 200 year old cottage with rising damp. The plastic laminate floor, layer on plastic sheeting has now been pulled up and underneath is terracotta tiles (no damage) They were incredibly damp because they couldn't breath. Now to get it back to its former beauty. Just wondering about how to re-grout as these tiles are situated very close together? Should we get a floor expert in or is it something we could do ourselves.
