    I think the best combo for the mods to use would be expanded star-bases, culture special ships ( I really like the idea of an interdictor ship, it sucks when you win a battle and the enemy suffers little to no losses and you do) and then under siege.

    *IT TAKES 50 YEARS JUST TO BUILD A TIER 2 RINGWORLD NOW AND 5 YEARS TO COLONIZE EACH SEGMENT, AND BUILD TIMES ON RINGWORLDS HAVE BEEN INCREASED BY 125%.....WHAT THE ACTUAL F$%K IS WRONG WITH THE MOD-CREATOR???? IN THE TIME IT TOOK TO BUILD THE FIRST STAGE OF A TIER 2 RINGWORLD, I LITERALLY TOTAL WAR'D THE GALAXY INTO DUST. THERE ARE NO MORE HABITABLE PLANETS LEFT AND MY RINGWORLD ISN'T EVEN 20% COMPLETE.*

      @@michael_stellaris A tier 2 ringworld (titanic) takes 50 in game years to construct as of the last GigaStructures update. That's just to build the thing. Then it takes 5 years to colonize each segment.

      @@michael_stellaris In my most recent playthrough, I started a tier 2 ringworld at the same time I declared total war on the galaxy. I managed to blow up every habitable planet in the galaxy with a single colossus before the first stage of the construction was finished.

      Ah I see, I was really confused as the script didn't mention ringworlds. I mean yeah the next tier ringworlds do take a lot of time to build. If build time was shorter people would be spamming them all over the galaxy.

      @@michael_stellaris A 50 year build time for a tier 2 is insane though....especially considering the mod allows full, undamaged, behemoth ringworlds to spawn on the map. A tier 3 ringworld now takes 100 years from the start of construction to colonization, that's longer than the average playthrough. A tier 4 takes 150 years, before the update it only took 25 to fully construct from start to finish. Also, build times on tier 2+ ringworlds have been increased by 125%, meaning building/districts take over double the normal time to construct.

      In case of ACOT most of these mods should work fine I think? I'm not sure about NSC, and Expanded Starbases though so you'll have to see for yourself. Some of these mods however are useless with ACOT, ESC NEXT's components are weaker, and ACOT overhauls armies in its own way, so there's no need for Ground Command.

    Hi Michael, would be great if you could create an ACOT playthrough. I struggle to produce fleets that can defeat Awakened Empires using this mod, despite having researched and fitted all the ACOT tech.

    If the Sirens fail their takeover or are set to not spawn, when Faust eventually reaches FTL, they'll become one of several pre-determined empires, all of which are references to Equestria at War factions. There's the Faustian Convocation, Griffonian Empire, Revolutionary Faust, Faustwide Socialist Republic, Faustian Federation, Empire of Aquileia-Wingbardy, Faustian Corporation, Dread Scourge, Faustian Directory, and... Katzenartig Imperium?! Yes, if the Katzen crisis is disabled, sometimes the Katzenartig Imperium will come out of Faust instead. This is a reference to EaW's side of the april fools collaboration, where Kaiser Kattail appears in that setting's cat nation instead of his own and tries to conquer the planet anyways. This version of the Imperium isn't a crisis and is instead just a normal empire that spawns with an attack moon and some decently powerful fleets.

    How long does it take to build these giga structures and the more powerful Tera structures? I’d imagine it take hundreds or even thousands of in-game years to build these beasts of engineering.

      If I recall correctly in each text callout I put in a number of required ingame days (the green icon represents time). This number represents the build time of all stages with the assumption that no modifiers increasing megastructure build speed are present.

    Hi Michael, as you know progress towards Dark Matter tech when using this mod requires level 6 plus scientist to be assigned to the Physics tech tree etc. How do I achieve this with a Hive Mind build where the Council oversees all tech tree research etc.?

      Firstly this video is a year old, before Paradox reworked leaders. I haven't launched ACOT but I searched the ACOT discord server, and I think now you need a scientist that meets those requirements in your council.

    I downloaded a mod that basically that turns quasar into a super mega ultra maximum citadel ship. problem is that it produces too much energy that we exported it to a foreign empire causes every star that they own to explode into blackholes. there were also 3 other option for it as well like a fortress (basically impossible for any empire to destroy) a very very very massive habitat that houses a infinity amount of population. and a ultra shipyard that produces citadel warship (that causes foreign empire and their stars to die)

    so... i'm in the early game and just found the faust system merely 5 jumps away from my homeworld. i guess that means i have to migrate or be screwed? or what range does the inner strife field have? EDIT: also, i'm playing a machine empire. so no psionic stuff.

    i have always made it so the center is just a blackhole and not the eternum. because frankly they *terrify* me. i didnt know they get planet craft. and i didnt know that you can have other fallen empires HELPING you defeat them. that's insanely cool. but now seeing this. im formulating a game idea. play as a very "halo" esk varient of humans known as the "UNSC" along with a bunch of other likeminded nations i will spawn in the galaxy. with the goal of unifying them all before the aternum can awaken. the main part of the game will be boring. as its all diplomacy and economy progression. and without any true hostile nations. getting everyone together to rally against them should be easy......... should be....

      I'm assuming you got the yellow exclamation mark icon in the launcher. What does it say? If it's a minor update, then you can ignore it.

      Yes that’s right its an exclamation mark. Also ACOT config menu was in the game but I didn’t see any of the three new origins before starting the game? One final thing, should I select the Enigmatic Society Trait to research?

      Download Universal Resource Patch, and put it at the bottom of your mod list. This should fix your problem

      Well because buying a mod, and copy pasting its code hoping it works makes no sense, and it's lazy. It makes more sense to hire mod creators, which PDX already did (Gatekeeper behind Planetary Diversity, and Caligula Caesar behind Dynamic Political Events). Also keep in mind the devs have their own vision of the game. Even if they hire a mod dev, it doesn't mean their mod would be added to Stellaris. Also let's be honest, would you rather pay for gazillion Evolved based DLC's, or download Stellaris Evolved for free lol

      There's no "necessary mods to unlock the features of this mod". If they existed I would've mentioned them in the video. Are you running Evolved alone, or with other mods? Perhaps one of them is incompatible. What exactly isn't working anyways?

      You don't need any additional mods to run Evolved. Look idk how to help you, i'm assuming you're either running mods that overwrite Evolved, or it's a glitch of some kind. You should report this on Evolved's discord server, you can find the invite on the mod's steam page
