Stay Flexy!
Welcome Flexy Gang! @WorkoutsbyDavid
Hey guys! I'm Movement by David. I started this second channel, Workouts by David, because there are a lot of videos I want to make that don't quite fit on my main channel. Here, I want to show you workouts, create follow-along videos, and try a bunch of crazy stuff that I love doing.
I want to keep the main channel mostly high-quality uploads, so on this channel, we'll explore things like middle splits, front splits, back bends, handstands, and basically anything that interests me.
So if you want to join me on this journey, please subscribe! You can also check out my main channel if you haven't seen it before @MovementbyDavid
Subscribe if you like. Stay Flexy!

Raw Flexy Training 15 | Hips
Просмотров 3549 часов назад
Hey, Flexy gang! Today, we’re focusing on hip mobility. I’ll be targeting the key components of the hips: hamstrings, hip flexors, external rotation, and internal rotation. The goal is to fully mobilize the hips and improve flexibility and range of motion. Whether you're an athlete, a dancer, or just someone looking to improve your mobility, these exercises will help you achieve better hip mobi...
My Shoulder Mobility Method
Просмотров 76016 часов назад
Shoulder mobility isn’t as complicated as people make it out to be. Funny enough, I just discovered I can actually do a skin-the-cat (you might have seen me do it in recent Raw Flexy Training videos so yeah, this is an older video lol). People think shoulder mobility is complex because of all the little rotator cuff muscles, deltoids, biceps, chest, and back muscles involved. But you don’t have...
Raw Flexy Training 14 | Calisthenics Workout
Просмотров 500День назад
In today's video, I'm diving into a calisthenics training session focused on push-ups and pull-ups. I'll be experimenting with different variations and even throwing in some cool-down stretches. I'm not training to hit maximum muscle growth-I'm just here to stay healthy and have fun. I find that enjoying my workouts helps me stay consistent. It doesn’t matter when or where you work out; what ma...
My Grip Strength Method
Просмотров 1,4 тыс.14 дней назад
Hey everyone! Grip strength doesn't have to be overcomplicated. In this video, I'll show you the three exercises I do, with just one set of each. There's an open-handed grip like you'd use in a handstand, a close-hand grip, and a false grip to work in the shortest possible position. If you want the scientific term, it's called active insufficiency, where your muscle starts to cramp, but you can...
Raw Flexy Training 13 | Front Splits

Hey everyone! Welcome back to the second channel. In today’s video, I’ll be doing a front split training session and showing you my approach to these sessions. I like to break it down into Bits, Pieces, and The Whole. First, the Bits: this is the warm-up phase. I focus on exercises that target my hip flexors, quads, and hamstrings, which are crucial for achieving a front split. A good warm-up i...

Bring it!!!
Great! Let's the inside of the kitchen!
Love it
Really appreciate the step-by-step verbal AND visual instruction on how to do these exercises. You're making the world a better, healthier place. One flex at a time 🙌
How I found out about your second channel was actually through your ebook. You honestly helped me come a long way since I started calisthenics
Wow thank you David
Dang, So sorry you cot covid. I'm glad you got better
It's more pleasant to work on the front splits in a swimming pool that has steps, if you have access. Also, David, there are benefits to getting visible, IR and UV light on the skin (in addition to vitamin D, and as long as you don't burn). If interested, reply here and I'll attach a couple of links to the review papers. 🙂
There's ikot I learn
İs knee pain normal while streching hips?
Nice practice… I was wondering if you can perform “the protector” just raged you on a instagram post
Man I needed this!! My hips are so tight! I’m only 26!
i still can’t get that deep into my splits 😭
If i were to do a split would my nu🥜 stretched as well?
where are bros balls
You should look into belly dancing...
I now know why hulk screams so much
Maybe Bruce on the inside is still thinking "I might be a walking rage machine, but I'll be damned if I don't get every ounce out of these muscles while I have 'em"
100 pounds ain't bad bro. Mine is 160, and Ive always been told I have insane grip strength. Id say 100 is above average probably.
Id kill to have 100 pounds bro I got 80 I'm so weak I might just end it all NGL
That was not a scream that was someone having constipation
Just claim its kilos. :D
yeah honestly dude is so strong I’d believe it
Awww 🥹 that "Stay Flexy" sounded so sad
til pronated grips and "chin up" and biceps! 💪
It probably has to do with reminding people to breathe because our muscles need oxygenated blood to function, and sometimes people exerting themselves will hold their breath.
The is an anaerobic exercise, Meaning constant inflow and cycle of oxygen is not vital to increased performance m.
That is *not* a scream dawg 💀
That definitely a scream what u thinking about may be a moan
second exercise I have pain in the front of the shoulder so I can"t stretch, what to do?
You are the best thank you
Great tip! Thanks. I’ll let you know how it goes
Would love to see your hamstring mobility method!
I just wish I had a pullup bar outside to practice that
I've been working up to a trick where I can give myself a handshake behind my back. Right now, I can grab my fingers (basically the same position as 1:36). I'm hoping that more work on my mobility will let me get my palms next to each other, but I'm also kinda worried that my arms might not have the reach regardless of how flexible I become.
I think you are made of elastic, keep them coming thanks
Much needed, thanks
I needed this!! My shoulders need work and it pops constantly!! Thank you for this!
Hehe he has no idea
Is it normal to feel something in the wrist? Cuz I do
Wait what how did I not know that u had another channel for the workouts lol. Thanks David, gonna binge watch all the vids here now....
the one i was waiting for!
David, do you only stretch once a week or do you do it multiple times a week? I mean, I´m wondering if you only stretch during the Raw Flexy Training or if you do stretch more
😻😻😻
Great video, David, but what muscle group(s) does the last one train?
All the forearm flexors! But it's specifically meant to improve your ability to hold a flexed position without cramping. very useful for calisthenics
@@WorkoutsbyDavid Thanks!
He’s gotta practice the doggystyle lmao
GYATT
I don't know if you can see that, butt...😂
I went way over what I feel was average for that test. Not a single time was it reported to my parents that maybe my flexibility was not normal and natural. Lol
😂 That's how you professionally flex (pun intended)! 😂
As you age your cup ball joints keep growing. By doing the same deep movements you end up causing damage to your cup part of the joint as the cup part keeps growing around the ball. As you get older you need to shallow out your stretching to prevent irreparable damage to your joints. This is why every commercial yoga teaching school has stopped advertising yoga is good for your body. A lot of older practitioners have succumbed to arthritis or need joint replacement surgery.
Your forearm is the same size as your foot. Don’t believe me…. Put your foot on your forearm.
reminder to put your microphone on the collar of your shirt so the audio reaches both ears 👍
Or combine the audio into mono and then split it to make the balance perfect
