I was thinking about watching this TV series, but now I'm going to pass. The show seems to just be about showing Yvonne's body. Don't get me wrong. She's stunning. But I doubt there's much else to the show.

My favorite Casey part, is after they learn that Jill was part of Fulcrum, but she doesn't know they know and Casey punches Chuck in the arm after the phone call. Chuck: "What was that for?!" Casey: "The kissing noises. Have some self-respect, Bartowski. You're a man!" 😂😂

I just realized, that picture of the two of them, in her suitcase, is the same one Chuck stared at in his room after the "it can never be real" speech, AND the same one she threw the pen through the following episode, when she was annoyed that he was trying to find out about her past.

I never saw Chuck when it was out. Maybe it didn't air in Australia, but I missed it. I grew up not far from Yvonne too!

I don't think she manipulates him until they acknowledge their relationship status. Before that, she's saying she wants everything he does. But after Other Guy, she knows she has him wrapped around her finger and occasionally uses it in a memorable moment for fans.

All of us want partners like Sarah and Chuck ❤

Definitely never noticed the North by Northwest poster. But, Eva Marie Saint doesn't really save Clark Gable, per se. Yeah, they fake her shooting him in order to convince the bad guys that there's no one after them anymore and she for awhile hides him from the police. But really, the old guy is who really gets him out of trouble, at least temporarily, both because it's his idea to fake Cary Grant's death, and in regards to getting him out of jail after he's arrested for the murder at the UN. But ultimately, Cary Grant actually saves Eva Marie Saint, at the end. So in a way, yes, it is similar. At first, Sarah is protecting him, but the other hand Chuck "saves" her, from the stand point that he gives her more of a life than being "just a spy."

We need our Chuck movie!!!!

She has already fallen for him, but realizes that her duty to keep him safe means she must sacrifice her heart. Such a tough decision to make. Happily, she realizes that she can have both. Such a wonderful story. and so well told.

Casey: "Love is for suckers." Chuck: "Have you seen Sarah?" Casey: *chuckles* "Sucker."

He told her his feelings too much, and she often burned him for it. Chuck was a whining apologist, which I expected would evolve during the seasons but didn't.

Awesome video, it's not easy to make a compilation like this from s1 to s5. Chuck is my favourite tv show ever and I can't believe somebody is still posting about it in 2024

Good work. I had never thought about the flash evolution with Chuck. It would also be nice to a compilation of all the different characters who had an intersect and how they each "flashed."

The episode with Sarah's dad was amazing on so many levels. When Chuck first meets him, the look Jack Burton gives him, he obviously thinks his daughter is running some sort of con (she obviously is, just a difference kind of con). So the fact that by the end of the episode, he realizes his daughter is actually in love with Chuck, says a lot. On top of that, Chuck defends his actions to Sarah on many occasions. And every time he does, she basically says that she wishes her father was more like Chuck, which of course he completely misses.

Am I the only person that thinks that Shaw would've been an ok friendtagonist? It could've been breathing

This series is like chocolate and ice cream to me : during dark periods I re-watch it to fill my inner tank with hope, love, humour dans good music...

In 108, she teases him saying that they have to make love, and then when she shows up, she shuts him down. 'What did you think was going to happen here tonight." Kind of a cheap shot to the fans, teasing them closing the deal only 8 episodes in. She should have said something like, and Sarah the handler would have, 'We need everyone to think we're sleeping together, so I'm going to have to spend the night at your place soon.' It would have made her showing up and blocking him, so to speak, more smooth. The way she set it up, he should have been expecting to perform, so to speak. Especially when she shows up in a trench coat and that cute little purple outfit. This sequence should have been worked out more smoothly when they were writing it. The way it airs it's very clunky and Sarah seems all the more manipulative for her behavior. Especially in the light of what she says later on about falling for him very early on.

OMG Yvonne's facial expressions always say so much more than her words sometimes. She becomes the Sarah we know and love and delivers the messages each scene is meant to tell us. The Chuck Team couldn't have casted a more perfect girl for this series. She and Chuck keep me watching now and it's 2024. I'm re-re-watching it again :>)

Just watching this series 12 years after it ended. I would definitely pay to see the movie if they ever make it.

Yvonne in Chuck is the best tv series actor ever. Every second, every tone, every expression is always completely believable, realistic and brings a depth into what without her would have been a probably adequate series like Lucifer or whatever.
