Excellent, Steve. It is a mystery that Sarah wanted to peek at Ellie and Devon, but chickened out of going in. She so desperately wanted to be family, but just couldn't quite do it all the way then. I hadn't realized the I know's were evenly split at 2 a piece.
Yes, I have started another video where Chuck and/or Sarah look in on Ellie and Devin as the "couple role model" and long for that type of relationship. It happens several times for them, each individually, and also as a couple.
I think on some level, she didn't think she deserved it, though. She obviously felt a certain level of guilt about her dad being a con and her part in that as a kid. It would explain why she originally tried so desperately to hide her past from Chuck. It wasn't just trying to keep a professional distance. She thought, wrongly, that he would think differently about her, if he knew. And as bad as the whole Prague situation was for her, her greatest sadness was always seeing how her having to hide feelings for Chuck, effected him.
@@ErikLeber-td7oj I know that some are of the opinion that Sarah felt unworthy or didn't deserve being in a family. Certainly as a government agent she probably wasn't proud of her past. But my feeling was that she just didn't know how to be in a family or, a real relationship. So she shied away for a long time. But there are many examples of how much she enjoyed the family dinners. And how disturbing it was when Hannah was at her place at the table.
Yes, she did a great job of acting in that scene (S3E8 23:40) where she sees Hannah at the family dinner where she should be. That is her family now and it is her seat at the table with Chuck that Hannah is in. Her pain is so well acted.@@jeffspector2458

You can't hide it Yvonne.
