Connecting Closed Loop Motors to OpenBuilds BlackBox using a Break out Board
We have designed a Break-out-Board for Openbuilds BlackBox that allow access to the motor signals. The BoB sandwich in between the two PCBs making up the BlackBox. A series of screw terminal connectors now allow you to connect external drivers like Closed Loop to the BlackBox.
This is a short introduction to the BoB that can be sourced from makersupplies.dk here: makersupplies.dk/electrical-cnc-electronics/motion-controllers/blackbox-signal-break-out-board
Please note:
When using this BoB the height will increase so the original sides will no longer fit. Also you should expect to void the warranty of the BlackBox.
Thanks to our friend Henrik for making the design!

    This answers most of my questions. The only question I have is, after drilling about 250 feet deep I see that you’ve connected the geothermal from the top spot into the basement. Is that not loosing heat or cold temperature before getting to your house? Are you able to trim the cable at least 6 feet down to maintain and prevent freezing? And then take the pipe into your basement?

    • @xFlavoriax
      @xFlavoriax 7 месяцев назад

      here in europe its called geothermal, not onlly for shallow depth..it can be drilled up to 1500m. Collecting heat from under ground, it can be also steam water from volcano.

      @@xFlavoriax Calling ground-based heat geothermal is a new fad. It just sounds more exiting, but leads to confusion. How do you distinguish between the heat sources but through names. Geothermal heat, I mean heat radiating from the earth core, is not connected to vulcanoes only, it is everywhere if you drill deep enough. In tectonic areas you just have to drill less deep.

Don’t you think it’s better to bring the 2 roller wheels from which the belt comes as close as possible and bring the pulley as close to them as possible? So we will reduce the length of the belt, wrap the belt around the pulley more, which in theory should reduce the backlash.
