have you tried the masking tape and superglue method instead of the double sided tape? holds the material just as well removing after the cut is much easier.
Thanks for the tip. I haven't tried it but will for sure. I fully agree that the 2 sided tape was way too strong - maybe a discount version would be better :-). As the MiniMill has such a small work surface some method like this is needed as normal fasteners/screws will not fit that well.
I use the masking tape method for everything now on my Ox. Brass, foam, MDF, pvc, Perspex ... so far. Wurth tape works nicely but so does the no name brand stuff from the supermarket.
