The suspension is relatively firm, but the 19-inch wheels make it more comfortable. I also drove the Performance model with 21-inch wheels, and that was stiff and uncomfortable. All in all, though, I’m very happy with the driving dynamics and comfort this car offers.

I once owned a second-generation Swift (2012 1.4). I think you’re referring to the third generation. Unfortunately, I haven’t driven that one. Personally, I found the second generation to be rawer and allowed for higher revs. Now, with all the electronics, the new one does move forward, but hey, everything was better back in the day 😅

It’s legit. On the Euro NCAP website, you can read the results of the safety tests. In 2024, Euro NCAP released a report stating that the adaptive cruise control of the BYD Atto is poor, and they do not recommend using it.

Half and half I think overall quality is still behind the mainstream automakers like Toyota VW but with relatively low price,they can make a hit

BYD doesn’t market it as an autopilot function but as adaptive cruise control with lane assist. I know that in China, they’re capable of almost autonomous driving. My comparison is, of course, with Tesla’s autopilot, which I use daily. Honestly, I haven’t driven any car that comes close to beating it so far!

It doesn't have an autopilot. It's adaptive cruise control. I own one already, it's an amazing car for the value.

This isn’t my car, but I get what you mean. So far, I’ve driven three different BYD models, and the screen has always been in landscape mode. Portrait mode honestly looks a bit odd.

I use portrait when parking, it gives you 3 camera views in portrait which is much better for nose in parking spots as it has an annoying habit of changing the camera views to L/R front wheel on landscape

Apart from the build quality and materials used, I want to focus more on the driving experience. The Sealion 7 glides effortlessly and smoothly over the roads. There’s less body movement compared to the BYD Seal U. In my opinion, the Seal U feels like a bouncing ball, with a somewhat sluggish road handling.

What a kid 😅. I’ve driven 3 different BYD models so far, and they’re all so different from each other. I’m not sure I really get what BYD is going for. That said, I think the Sealion 7 is pretty solid in terms of looks, build quality, and how it drives. Definitely worth a try! Lync & Co2 is on my list 😊.

Haha, most of those brands you cant get in NL. And BYD is cheaper than all of them.

Seems Avatar' navigation assistance is better than BYD, because it use Huawei' system. In China, besides those Brands who empowered by Huawei, Xpeng is also in the 1st tier of intelligent driving technology.

Exactly, Europe is still way behind compared to China. I think Nio is one of the few brands here that sells cars with Lidar. Brands like Xpeng have actually taken it out for the European market.

It would obviously depend on one's needs but here in Europe I believe the BYD Seal refresh model will do exceptionally well once it's released in 2025.

The Sea Lion 07 is just the best SUV in the Ocean Series. The best sedan in the Ocean Series is the Seal. In the Dynasty Series, the Han and Tang are top - notch. And every car from BYD's luxury brands like Denza, FangChengBao, and YangWang is even better.

@@xMI55IONx nah BYD's are too heavy to compete with sedans. Model 3 will destroy it. BYD is a proper SUV/id3 size company

Thanks for your feedback. I agree, the timing wasn’t really ideal for filming. I tried to brighten it up a bit, but unfortunately without success.

It was a joy to drive this car and yes the noise in the cabin was pretty low. -30? Doesn't life just come to a halt then? In the Netherlands, all it takes is a bit of rain and a few leaves on the road, and bam-traffic jams everywhere LOL.

Which color would you choose?

Sorun, şu anki elektrikli araçlar için elverişsiz olan şartlar. Satın alma teşvikleri ya azalıyor ya da tamamen kaldırılıyor. Did you have an Isetta? What happened to it? I recently had the chance to admire one in person. They're so beautiful! The Microlino is indeed a joy to ride, but it's far from comfortable and does produce quite a lot of noise!

With the standard 21-inch wheels, the ride feels firmer and road noise is more noticeable, but it's far from intolerable.

I prefer the Model 3 Highland.

I appreciate it😊 I didn’t get a chance to drive the Atto 3, unfortunately, but the Seal U just isn’t for me. The suspension feels too soft, and the car leans too much in the corners. On top of that, the seats don’t offer enough support, which makes it a no-go for me.

We can agree or disagree about the car, and I don’t usually express my opinion about politics. You know, you can say something about every country. But I completely agree with your point about Elon Musk. How wrong I was about this person, and how I regret buying a Tesla, no matter how much I love the Tesla itself.

Why is that?

Correct, there are heated seats in the front and back. However, the middle seat in the back is not heated. As I mentioned in the video, only the two front seats are ventilated.

I know that some EVs produce sound at low speeds to alert pedestrians. However, this sound seemed very mechanical, as if something was grinding. But you might be right that this sound is intentionally produced by Xpeng.

You can change the sound of it such as time warp. The sound that you were hearing its a artificial mechanical sound
